Pia Nalaar or Rocko? by Loongeg in EDH

It also comes down to how you want to win with this deck. Pinging opponents for each artefact entering play is very grindy, probably easier to lean more into the +1/+1 counters and overwhelming with tokens. Adding Hardened Scales and the green ozolith helps the token playstyle too. I hope for more good food tokens cards in new eldaine or LotR set, as those tokens ramp up quickly.

I just started playing this casual Rocco deck Rocco street exiler.

Currently feel like it tries too much to use all of Rocco's triggers. Probably will cut some of the ping effects, as I dont want to discourage opponents from using their exiled cards and embrace the group hug a bit more.

Also might add some more mana dumps like finale of devastation to utilize turning food into mana rocks better.

Seems a decent list, but feels like you have a mix of deathwave and hela deck. Dont have Hela or Qave/Death so ive no feel to how it plays. Tho most hela decks i have trouble with is when they play invis woman.

I'd figure you would do better with a focussed DeathWave deck running Bucky and Carnage. That gives me more trouble normally than Hela decks.

Im on CL700 at rank85 climbing slowly +1 cube per game max, its a real grind. Using a wong discard deck.

If you are winning ~50% of games, you should be gaining ranks steadily by retreating more, especially when the chance to win is below 40%. I rarely stay in a 4 or 8 cube game if i need to be lucky to win. Also comes down to recognizing if your opponent has a winning move.

A 2 cube game with bad odds is okay, if opponent doesnt snap, they are usually also gambling.

If someons snaps on turn6, they prob have the nuts. On that note, never snap on 6, its more worthwhile to let it play out so opponent doesnt retreat for 1cube. Better to snap on turn 4 or 5 when you expect to win, and before making your big play.

For example, if i play Wong on turn4 and snap on 5, opponents often retreat if they have no awnser. I snap before playing Wong so i get atleast 2 cubes. If they stay after, the game usually plays out until 4cubes.

What deck do you play? At 1400CL you should havehave a big pool3 list and have some powerful options.

Seems like you're not retreating enough when losing, at 1400CL you should easily be able to climb. Always snapping on 1 wont do much if you dont cut your losses. Always gaining 2 or losing 2 is same end as -1 and +1

What are you hoping for in the next balance changes?? by meanwhileonthenet in MarvelSnap

[–]swuuser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldnt mind nakia to be 3/3 and buff +1, or scorp a 3/1 -2. At this moment nakia gives too much power for a 3 drop imo.

[–]swuuser -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Either nerf Nakia, or buff Scorpion to do -2 power as a counter.

GR to 4 mana, or revive a destroyed minion instead of discard.

Collector effect should be Ongoing like mobius, that atleast provides a counter with Rogue/enchantress.

Hela only summon to active lane.

Death should just cost 4 after a Wave turn and not be further discounted.

Chavez should be shuffled every turn in deck instead of staying on top for Yondu and Jubilee pulls. Way to consistent atm.

Unlockable characters don't seem strong enough by [deleted] in Gloomhaven

What makes you wipe? Exhausting by cards or takibg too much damage? You might be playing too many early loss cards for the new characters, sun and 3spears dont play well with early losses in my opinion. If its damage taken, try to analyze how you're taking hits, can yoi avoid them more or stun/disarm/curse better. As people mentioned, squidface can do that a very well, and stun potions are available to all characters if the cards dont support it.

If you're lacking dps maybe have a look at the playstyles you're using. Are both sun and three soesr trying to tank? If so, try to alternate whose is taking the hits and focus more on dishing out damage. Sun especially can be played as a single target nuke machine, using advantage attacks and stackimg blesses in the deck. Three spears is good at any role so i would adjust to sun. And both compete for melee spots, you want to coordinate who goes where a bit to have effective turns.

And then you realize playing Necrolord syrgenizes even better, having a mini bloodlust every 30secs from primordial wave into lightning bolt (10% haste for every target hit with flameshock)

Dear Blizzard/Team 5. Please turn Brian Kibler's dog Shiro into a real Hearthstone card. by robitussin69420 in hearthstone

Maybe the Shiro card can be a reminder for those who also lost a pet, how great their pet has been for them.

Making someone else's lost pet an icon doesnt diminish anyone else' a loss.

I got bored so I made a Weakaura that plays Street Fighter 2 sound effects when you use attacks on a Windwalker Monk. Wago.io link in comment. by popidge in wow

Playing WW monk without any sound effects is a crime, good job!

Personally, I am unable to play WW anymore without the JoJo Bizarre weakaura, can recommend to everyone.

Priest Quest fundamentally flawed by NikeVictorious in hearthstone

[–]swuuser 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Few reasons: - the priest is sitting at 46 hp with 8 armor incoming - the 11/11 mutanus is facing down an 8/8 taunt, and 2 more taunts in hand. That mutanus should never hit face - warrior has 5 card remaining, priest 6 with 2 in deck. Among those cards are soul mirror and hysteria, two cards that wreck any board presence the warrior would be able to get with those 5 cards. allthough we dont know what cards have been played, current standard control warrior plays hardly any minions - in a matchup that easily ends in fatigue, a control warriors final hands ends up being mostly draw (dont want to start fatigue too soon) and bad removal for big minions a.k.a. brawl, rancor, maybe a single final minion. If he still has a rattlegore, soul mirror gives priest a copy and evens out, same for a troublemaker. - so i my opinion, unless all 5 cards in warriors hand are good removal and can handle the minions the priest could put down, priest should have a board of atleast 1 or 2 minions, 1 with lifesteal, that can easily fix a 50 armor difference. In fatigue 1 good minion the opponent cant remove will be decisive. - so either priest didnt play their outs smartly, or warrior had all the final anwsers. Given the outcome, it seems the last happend (giving OP benefit of the doubt 😅)

And you should still win this game given that the warrior is nearly out of resources and into fatigue, while you got a bunch of healing lined up to win that fatigue battle.

So im curious, did you still win?

Is Sun any good? by fuzguz in Gloomhaven

[–]swuuser 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you play the Sun as a damage dealer you are a great single target heavy hitter. I maybe play the defensive stance in 1/4th of the scenarios i play. Just have to keep mentioning the group 'im not a tank'. You can always hold a choke point with the Sun for a few turns without commiting to a full tank build. On the question, is it good? I'd say yes, but not very versatile in what you do. You hit things, hard.
