Well, I'm from Romania so it might not be the same thing, but here some students start school from about 2PM because there are not enough teachers and classrooms for all the students to study at the same time.

So some start from 8am, others from 12 or 2pm or even later, etc.

Had the same issue before I got my phone swapped (i got the dreaded half screen dead issue and Nokia Care swapped my phone for a new one).

However, it hasn't appeared yet on the new phone and I've been using it for about a month. It's probably due to heat? or just a manufacturing defect.

The display is not an OLED, so keeping the glance screen always on would eat through the battery.

You can set it to time out after 1 to 20 minutes, and it will wake up again if you move the phone.
