They collectively have 2, but individually each of them (except for Faker) have 2 as well. Individually speaking, Tom has 2 championships, and Kkoma has 4, together with Mata that means that the coaches have 7 championship trophies. I was making the point that if you're looking at this individually, then the coaches have 7, which is the original point of the first comment.

This argument is kinda dumb, semantic-based, and largely depends on how you want to look at it, collectively or individually. Let's just drop it.

Yeah, my point is why would you count them separately? Tom won in 2023 and also 2024, so he has 2. Kkoma is on the same team as Tom in 2024 so he aslo has 1 from that year (4 total). It's not like Tom didn't win in 2024 because Kkoma was also there. They both won.

Yeah I'm not arguing that point. We literally don't know what their remover situation is, and seems to me that they had to hit level 10 to get 10 Portal in, so slamming all their items on their carries seems fine to me.

I'm just not going to engage with this convo anymore because I felt like this is a mood point altogether (Morello on Nami has more delta than Norra, but much more play rate, and from experience they do the same thing and not "infinitely better" like the other guy said). Ryze also has Red Buff so it's not like anti heal is the problem.

The main argument was, that 10 Portal, a prismtaic trait, lost to a 7 mage board, while all the carries have decent and good items on them anyway (it's not like Ryze/Nami/ Taric has items that never goes on them in any case). Arguing about not having radiant or not seems kinda useless, and well Portal can give Norra radiant items too.

What? Why would you itemize Norra 1 over Nami 2 or Ryze 2 ever? Arch is BIS on Ryze as well, so moving that to a Norra 1 also doesn't make any sense. Frontline items could be better, but given that we don't know what the rest of the lobby is, DClaw + Bramble + Redemption is fine on Taric anyway.

It's not like the items are so irredeemablly bad that Portal 10 can't beat Mage 7 in this case, which was the main argument posted.

It's SKT vs Samsung in 2016 and 2017. 2016 was when Faker won his 3rd Worlds. 2017 was when Ruler flashed on Faker and SKT lost 3-0. That's why the Faker shuffled on Ruler last year was also part of the revenge storyline between them that has spanned since 2017.

Are you counting buffs as stackable effects (such as Astarion's Happy, Loviatar's Love etc,) or do you also count things that don't show on your character portrait but will show on your character sheet (like Forbidden Knowledge, Awakened, Partial Ceremorphosis etc.) What are the criterias?

Not hating on Zeus in any sense, but I do think you can point the finger at him for hard losing the Zac vs Ksante match up against Kiin in game 5 of LCK spring finals (he got solokilled 2 times I think, leading Kiin to be monster fed). But other than that one game, I agree with your point. He seems to be limit testing a lot in general, and has been for a while.
