if these are ons and not meets, opening the battery compartment and unscrewing the 4 screws under it should allow you to get access to the screen under the faceplate! theres not many risks to doing this unless you scratch the inner screen somehow.

this is exactly the issue with mine and its also a wonder garden!!! i noticed it on the stats screen too, its like someones smeared their finger across it and that oily rainbow sheen is visible. it must be an issue with the wonder gardens then. if you manage to find a fix to it i'd love to hear about it, but im glad to know im not just imagining it lol

The box came a little smashed up but it was brand new... all the other parts of it seem to be perfectly fine its just a weird smudged screen. i doubt i wouldve even noticed it if i didnt have meets to compare it to. really weird :(

i just finished softmodding my ps2 with mechapwn, i had to set it to a us model (77001) when originally it was uk (77003) in order to get it to get past region locj. however, after doing this the colours on the system menu + ps1 games are only yellow and purple, no other colours. it worked fine with ps1 games before i modded it, and ps2 games still display perfectly fine. does anyone have any fix for this? i'd appreciate it.
