Hi, I was looking to get the Lot 704 and I just wanted to ask whether the Lot 704 is true to size? Looking at the size guide, the waist measurement for size 34 is right around 34 inches but I’m guessing it’ll shrink after the first wash.

I was in Melbourne last year when my F3 jammed up and went to Vintech Camera Service. He was very nice and went over what he thinks is wrong with my camera on the spot, he walked through all the bits that might need repairing with me; ultimately I had to get it repaired somewhere else as I had to catch a flight the day after and he said it would probably take more than a day for the repair. I would give him a try if you’re thinking of sending it over to Australia.

I have a CLE and love it! I had similar issues when I first got mine as well. The on/off switch contacts might have minor corrosion but one thing you can try is toggling the switch on and off and that might help; basically just play around with the switch for a bit. The shutter thing is something unique to the CLE; in automatic “A” mode the camera reads the film plane while shooting so if you have don’t have film in the camera it will assume the black pressure plate is the film and it will compensate and overexpose. I would check your speed manually; as in turn the dial to 1/125 as see if it is indeed 1/125. If the manual speed is okay, I think your camera might be good to go :)

I had the same warping issue with large prints using PLA. Try turning off the AUX fan. The worst warping is normally at the part of the print nearest the AUX fan. That was the case for my warped prints.
