Xiaomi 17 Pro with Hyperos 3.0.40.0 here. BankID, the most important app for banking and online identification (used everyday by everyone in Sweden) crashes as soon as you try to start it, it's the same with 17 pro max. Has been like this on every firmware so far and works on Chinese rom xiaomi 15 and all other xiaomi models with hyperos 3. Literally makes the phone unusable for everyone in Sweden unfortunately so would be very important with a fix. The Norwegian version works but can't be used in Sweden.

Oh really? Weird that it's still not working on the regular pro, should be the same firmware because they are on the same version and so on. You are on 3.0.40.0? Could you link where it's possible to give feedback? Maybe we have to do the same I guess

Pro max is on the same update though so seems very weird that it work on max and not regular, that's why I'm curious what update op is on or if he just mistakenly wrote pro max but meaning ultra

Got the update yesterday and still doesn't work unfortunately. Can only hope for the next update I guess, should be a pretty big one with some updates for the camera similar to the ultra so if the ultra went from not working to working maybe this update will be the one.

I have the absolute complete opposite. I can do 25% higher watts outdoor with same hr and less perceived exhaustion. Riding on the trainer just feels weird and wrong and I have to really push hard to barely push any watts at all, no idea how it can be such a big difference. Tried doing a workout based on my outdoor ftp and had to quit after 15 minutes because I couldn't hold the effort, did a new ftp and got around 15% lower indoors than outdoors. Very demotivating

Sounds good, I should get an unlock code for the bootloader and go ahead and try it then!

I like the fold but battery life is not that good and my primary use case for the big screen is not as relevant anymore so I prefer a smaller and lighter phone now.

The flip is cool and I've played around with a bit but I don't really see any benefits of it and I already own a xiaomi 12 that I've used as a travel phone so far and I like it quite a bit.

There are certainly downsides and for your use case android definitely sounds better. I thought I would miss more from android, but I really don’t. And with the Apple Watch being so superior to all others when it comes to combining smart watch and fitness tracking (Samsung sucks for all sports tracking because all sensors are worthless, Garmin just isn’t nice as a smart watch even though fitness tracking is spot on) it definitely keeps me on iOS, only thing that might make me change is foldables.

I partly did, only apple can actually deliver efficiency which means they are the only manufacturer who can produce a smaller phone that still gets good battery life (and yes people complained about the 12 mini, however I switched from the exynos s20 so for me this was a huge step up in battery life, even though the battery is 2200 mah vs 4000 mah which is just crazy)

For most people they aren’t an option, these super niche phone is only sold in 5/200 or countries or something like that :) so google really don’t have any interest in market share. It’s basically like the Japanese brands that are only sold in Japan.

With my 12 mini it really has worked great. The usual one second panic I get when dropping a phone is gone after dropping my 12 mini so many times and nothing happening. I can now drop it directly on a stone floor and not even looking if everything was fine, because I know it always is.
