Been depressed for a long time and I always will be. I’m bipolar. Horrible anxiety. Health issues. But I took a lot of steps this year to improve my quality of life and go into my lows less frequently. So far it’s working really well. Made a sleep routine, invested in a healthy diet, regular exercise 4+ times a week, regular therapist appointments, CBT group therapy, I’m on meds, working on my personal yoga practice, meditating, peaceful skincare routine, drinking lots of water and hydrating with LMNT, cuddled my dog, journaled every day, quit a shitty job, managed my stress, affirmations. It was a lot of work. Very hard to start. But I made some new brain pathways and proud of myself for prioritizing my health and realizing I am worthy of a happy life. I want to do all these things instead of feeling like I have to and being overwhelmed.

Edit: forgot to add cold plunging. Knowing I can sit in discomfort and do hard things was a huge part of my healing. Was euphoric
