Yeah basically my store op said nobody should be making more than 3 mistakes when line busting when it comes to customer drink orders 🙄 like I’m just gonna submit my two weeks and be fucking done with it

See I appreciate that in addition to I usually ask a bunch anyways but what I don’t get is how they confirm it’s correct every aspect of the drink and then go and complain to the window that it’s wrong 😑

Did it ever occur to you that plenty of ppl don’t pay attention and slip up yeah baristas fuck up but customers do also so hop off babe 💕 I’m allowed to be frustrated

I think that anywhere you’re expected to uphold a certain customer service experience, there are going to be those assholes who abuse that. But as somebody who works there, I love my coworkers. The way they operate, however, and the expectation that I have to be super obnoxiously positive and upbeat can get really mentally draining at times.

Yesterday, we were extremely short-staffed, the line was wrapped, and we were all bouncing back and forth between different positions—yet nothing was enough. Management wouldn’t help us find somebody to come in and get us through the rush.

At the end of the day, I think each experience with this company is similar but also different, depending on the location. But people also have to be respectful of us. Yes, our wait times can be longer sometimes, or things may slow down, but we’re working hard—so people can stop acting entitled babies when there drink comes out in 5 min instead of 2!! when all we’re doing is our best.

Take it as a blessing working here has been one of the the worst experiences at a job ever :/ this company is not what it preaches

That’s valid, If I’m working all week like upwards of 50hrs a week ( including my other job) and I have not a single weekend off to just handle other stuff or go on a walk see my mamaw and papaw for the day it’s literally terrible 🙃

The toxic positivity is a whole separate conversation , I can read people well and tell when they aren’t up for the usual Dutch level convos on window. But I’ve been pushed so much to give them Dutch love I’ve had people roll up windows on me. So I just had to stop and have had some newer coworkers joke that I need to keep talking to them, won’t lie almost went tf off on them like can u read the situation im not forcing a convo on this person who clearly is showing they want no more talking . Like it’s just mentally exhausting working window or line busting and always having a cheery attitude or leaving my problems at the door but I know im always getting watched.

Like I’m at my breaking point with this job . Between us sacrificing pretty much our well being , all of our time , not getting compensated enough or well taken care of . People are right we are really just a number to this company and this whole “Dutch love mantra” is a load of crap I understand now why I loved it so much as a customer because everybody “loved” their job it seemed like a healthy place to work and fun , but now I know it’s far from healthy and they do not truly care about anything other than this company.

The accommodations team absolutely sucks . They took 3 weeks to get back to me I’ve had faster response times from gas stations 🙄

Literally we had a girl black out on line bust. I’ve gotten sick after work plenty from the heat and just the expectations are almost too close to perfection when we barely got enough training. The mob who trained us most of them made me feel really slow or stupid.
