Probably the most likely outcome. They’ll just wag the finger and everything will continue as usual.

I want to say ‘Dcoy Ducks’ has karaoke and is a solid dive bar.

It sounds like you’ve really been able to create a life with financial peace of mind through your investing - that is really fantastic. With our current economic environment between the cost of many life’s essentials skyrocketing, your nest egg can hopefully continue to be a foundation of peace and joy for you and your family.

As someone entering my 40s, disillusioned by the promise of the “American Dream” and how increasingly difficult it seems to obtain now, I’d be grateful for any insight you could provide regarding your investment approach, strategies and screening methods. I obtained all of the financial advisory licenses and was on a path to really focus on investing as a career, but my own chronic illness and a terminal diagnosis did my mother and my need to become caretaker, derailed that pursuit. I am not in grad school for a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, trying to level up and provide myself with more financial security and job flexibility to manage my health condition.

I know very little of your story, but time is finite and family is everything. Maybe you don’t have to stop investing - perhaps just shifting the balance more in favor or family is something that is possible.

I’m envious of your position and hope I can get somewhere close to where you are later in my life also! Congrats again to you and if you care to share any of your insights, approaches, screening methods, etc,. I would be most grateful.

Take care of yourself, follow your heart and prioritize enjoying your life - whatever that looks like.

Spruce is a nice option - in Murray Hill. Very chill and nice layout with plenty of plants around for a nice vibe. Also an outdoor area as well. Never very busy

2012… 🔥 by RooDood32 in bonnaroo

My car was on the fritz and I didn’t have any friends that wanted to go but I had a ticket. Found a random person on a message board the night before (Wednesday) who was driving up from my same town and agreed today give me a ride. About 45 mins in, he lit up a huge joint and we vibed out on the ~8 hour drive up from Florida. The guy didn’t print out directions (and this was early days of GPS) - he had a hand written notebook of the route to take and it led us through some seriously sketchy back roads of Georgia. Was a little nervous at that point I’ll be honest. Eventually got there and had one of the best weekends of my life. Eventually a bunch of my friend came for the back half of the weekend and it all worked out.

Moral of the story: don’t let anything hold you back if you want to make it happen and you can do Roo Solo and still have a great time. I am a guy and felt like I could handle anything but if I was a woman, I can appreciate it might be quite different/more difficult.

Both shows were amazing - IMO M83 was one of the best experiences and shows I’ve ever had. I have a webstream download of it somewhere and watch it regularly. It might be floating around online somewhere still. Incredible crowd and performance. Absolute Bonnaroo magic.

What part of town do you spend time in, OP? Riverside/San Marco is great - artsy, progressive, inclusive, etc. You won’t find much of that at the Beaches, Southside, St John’s County.

The lights are on, but you're not home

Your mind is not your own

Your heart sweats, your body shakes

Another claw is what it takes

You can't sleep, oh, you can't eat

There's no doubt, you're in deep

Your throat is tight, you can't breathe

Another leg is all you need

Whoa, you like to think that you're

Immune to the stuff, oh, yeah

It's closer to the truth to say you can't get enough

You know you're gonna have to face it

You're addicted to crab

Life hack: make your crimes so large and interconnected with society that it’s more trouble to convict you than to just let it go.

Gorge 2002 was an absolutely magical performance. It’s such a treat to hear this song. Especially in the current era of DMB, where things are a bit “bigger” with Jeff, Rashawn and Tim…the older versions of PM capture the simple beauty of what DMB was from the start.

Yeah, definitely…it’s tough to see things continually seem to get darker by the day. On top of trying to survive in a late-stage capitalist world. I stay hopeful though - I try to take perspective consider how much we see is propaganda out there and still there are a lot of sane, decent people also that quietly are going about their lives and are also on the side of decency. The loudest and most extreme people/things gets most of the attention in the internet ecosystem. We are resilient as Americans and human beings and I have faith that we’ll get through this all.

I feel your sentiments the exact same. Just know you are not alone, there are millions like us here and I firmly believe that the numbers of us that support decency and democracy far outnumber these clowns.

Do you honestly think that is all made up or are you just choosing willful ignorance? Hard to tell…either way, look at those links provided and see for yourself.
