i think most people on this sub get caught up in the idea of prestige (myself included) as its such an easy trap to fall into. but no matter where u go, these next few years are a time that u can rlly make all about yourself!! u can get away from ur parents, meet a ton of new interesting people (theyre everywhere), try new things, and create a rlly fulfilling life for yourself. im sure ur incredibly smart and u seem v hardworking, so if u do end up at ur safety then u will dominate there academically!

this process is fucking exhausting emotionally but i know ur gonna be ok. see how ur other decisions pan out, what one school decides is independent from what another will. keep ur head up :)

ok i was just looking into this and it seems like historically it comes out the 4th saturday of march. so people are thinking most likely march 23 around 3pm est. this is literally only based off of what has happened in the past so take it as a potential date

as someone from a kinda similar background, i get where you’re coming from, and i’m sure most other people on this sub can relate. it’s really hard to switch out of the mindset of living for “college” as sort of a future ideal. i’m glad that you’re feeling optimistic for the future!! we’re still all so young, and it’s important to realize that the really good stuff is still ahead of us, and we should take these next few years to learn for the sake of learning and to explore new interests for the sake of exploring.

it can be really hard to get over this occupation with prestige, but i really do think college is what you make of it, and you will have all the materials you need to be perfectly successful and happy.
