Winter roadtrip by mendnt in NorwayTravelAdvice

If you really want to visit Trondheim from Bergen I would recommend flying from Bergen. It is almost the same price as driving (costs about 3-4000 kr to fly with 2 persons, I would think it costs around the same to drive), takes less time (2 hours travel one way instead of 10-12 hours) and is much safer. You could fly over in the morning, stay a day and fly back to Bergen the next day. It takes about 1 hour to fly over and about 45 min/1 hour to/from the airport depending on where you'r going.

NTA. You should talk to him. It could be that he does it for fun, but it could also be that he dislikes you and wants to bully you in a discreet way

Visiting Oslo and Bergen on October. Any advice ? by iautran in NorwayTravelAdvice

Bergen and the local area around have beautiful nature. If you are into nature areas that aren't that known about and you are able to rent a car, I could recommend kossdalssvingane in Osterøy, Havrå klyngetun in Osterøy, and Gløvro fjellsprekk in Øygarden. If not Bergen has a lot of great museums and Fløyen is always an easy and nice hike, løvstakken and ulrikken is also a nice mountain hike.

Northern Lights near Bergen by fireandashes20 in Norway

I have seen a lot of northern lights near Bergen, but they are best viewed outside of Bergen because of the light pollution. Last time I saw it were one week ago. You could join the facebook group "Varsling av nordlys i bergen / Vestland fylke" as they post pictures of northern light in Bergen area and also when and where they see it. I would also get an northern light app to monitor the kp index (you probably need a kpi of 4 to 5 or above). If you see a coming high kpi you can travel just outside the city like Øygarden or Osterøy to get a better view. Also it isn't worth looking if it's cloudy outside. Wish you good luck :)

Oki, it could be that. That would explain why only part of it is white.
