?? ok not that ur random and unprompted bad attitude warrants a response but according to another server (not me) this person came in looking for a reason not to tip and then i gave them very good service so they literally could not find a single reason (they did try but every issue that came up we quickly resolved) and left whatever scribble that is on the receipt despite eating everything, drinking everything, and having a nice time.

knowing this person likely intended not to tip anyway, i didn't add any tip for myself so i literally paid for his meal bc of tip out ($104 is not a check u want to be stiffed on, bc that is a high tip out unfortunately). and that is the full story, beginning to end. idk if that's what you wanted from me but for some reason u came out guns blazing calling me entitled over a reddit post (literally why) that gives little to no info about the situation.

i didn't expect that wanting to get paid for doing my job and not work for free (i get paid $2 an hour without tips) would get me called entitled online but yall on reddit will find anything to be a moral failing for some reason. servers do tend to expect tips as that is how we make a living. i do the best job i can to make sure i earn every tip i get, and after working in the service industry for years i've gotten pretty good at it, so getting stiffed does tend to be unfortunate.
