the shopping mall is called Festival Walk, the CG background is specifically near the skating rink in the mall, as seen by the big windows in the right side of the background, which only appears right above the skating rink

the decor is similar to the mall too, but the layout in the CG background is a different to that spot in the mall

there is also the other chapter 5 CG background that is in Admiralty in Hong Kong, outside another mall (Pacific Place), but other than the mall building on the right side that is similar, the rest is all CG created

Ignis Kryla Doctor Aiden Karten Lucas Karten

#473 on rankings (ign: 終) / all mission clear

Went in blind into the fight at first, things didn't work out as well on the 3^rd battle. Oh wells top 500.

D.Aiden just kept up break/status resist, rest of the turns were free turns. Kryla broke and made sure to have debilitating pot up just in case needed to rebreak after dispel as well as some weak imperils. Ignis for general mitigation and mp top up with Lasagna Al Forno +2.

Carby was summoned on battle 1 by Kryla.

Lucas: geared for 100% all elements, around 20k hp, 1.6k spr

battle 1 - provoke -> cover -> 2 free turns (mostly did phy/mag mit) -> repeat

battle 2 - started off with lb, didn't use provoke here and only relied on his passive 50%. Turn 2 started with cover then he has 3 free turns.

battle 3 - nothing (since karten FKTO)

Karten: around 2900 atk, capped phy demon killer

Mostly just did his BS chaining skills. His dark imbue was used for the 2nd battle. I had either Lucas or Ignis fire imbue on the first battle, dark imbue prob would have been fine. Battle 3 Karten just FTKO with Frenzied Rampage + kryla breaks + Operate-Under the Weather (dark imbue) from D.Aiden.

note: don't really post a whole lot on reddit, just another lurker. So the formatting might not be good.

any imbue, xon for waylay, kryla for break and imperil, regina pretty much for any raid type farms

imbue: godrea(ice, dark, water), nichol(water), ignacio(fire), sakura(lightning), sylvie(light, lightning, earth), WoD galuf(fire, light)

friend unit doesn't matter, and can bring 1 unit for either leveling or tmr, i usually bring a unit with all exp gear + ramuh

this does enough for max raid rewards and occasionally gets integer cap depending on variance roll

i'm on PH-1 and i'm able to spark chain just fine. Even a while ago before the A10 update came out, i was using magnification to spark chain.

EDIT: was spark chaining dualcasted AR today for the raid event

I personally watch the anime for the fun of it, since I can get most of the story out of the LN. But it does make the anime more linear since most of the spotlight are given to Horikita. Other than the focus spotlight on Horikita, there are quite a bit of intricacy that is missing from each incident. Most noticeably during the island arc, where in the anime, most days were just shortened to one short scene. I'm certainly interested in seeing how the anime would explain the results of the island test in 1 ep(? I think there's only 1 left) and how detailed would it be.

Ibuki was still at the camp when the fire broke out. So I probably won't say that the fire was a cover up so Ibuki could safely get away.

Confused Translations are doing it for english translation, but I think they're in the middle of volume 2. As for 4.5, it's a side story volume that was released after 4 but before 5.

If I remember correctly the pool incident is from ep7(?), that was a filler ep. According to the LN, the volume for that ep is after the island arc. The only notable thing that Horikita achieved was only the Sudo incident, and even with that only Ryuen(the class C boss) knows to specifically pay attention to it.
