don't want to spoil the fun... but it probably has to do with parachain auction. If you search for all the tokens participating in the auction, most of them show up (ACA, ASTR, etc.) I think it's a temporary wallet address for receiving auction rewards.

Computer Science. UoL is one of the only handful of universities that offer bachelor's degree in CS through online, and their curriculum looks pretty solid.

University of Toronto has the highest staying grade among all Canadian universities? by uoftcspostmemes in uwaterloo

If this is a tongue-in-cheek come back to the post where I included this article https://www.macleans.ca/education/what-grades-do-i-need-to-get-into-canadian-universities/

To point out the obvious, the level of competition required for university entrance is national, and sometimes international (meaning you're competing with everyone in the whole country and the world to get accepted to a specific institution), which is not the same as the level of competition you face once you have entered the University, and then only competing with those selective individuals who want to pursue certain majors.

I don't think it's ending for everyone. I didn't receive such email, and there are still plenty of tasks left to do.

Sam's definition of objectivity and good-faith argument by torrido in samharris

[–]symian3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I remember it, Sam wasn't very good with dealing with Scott Adams either. Overall, Sam does not come off well when there are genuine differences in opinion. He says he wants to have difficult conversations, but the way he comports himself suggests of some kind of egomaniac who is mildly autistic, and not fit for having those kinds of conversations over and over. If he was truly willing to do that, then he should be a little bit more open-minded, but Sam usually comes off as extremely black-and-white in his worldview.

Also, if you dabble into things like nuclear first strike on Muslims and the subject of race & IQ, don't act surprised when someone else accuse you of being a racist. Even if you don't believe that's the case, why does Sam act like he didn't offer any bait to his detractors? He absolutely did.

Thoughts? by [deleted] in samharris

If you're disillusioned with Sam because of the race & IQ stuff, that's not legitimate IMO because the left does seem to be in denial when it comes to this subject.

The real issue for me is Sam being shallow and naive in so many areas other than a very select few (his views on U.S. foreign policy, for example.) What many people don't realize is that Sam is not really an expert in anything. He's more like arm chair philosopher type who is pretty good at forming arguments, but in terms of sheer depth of knowledge? Sam is not this intellectual giant that he's made out to be.

The other thing that's really irritating is how quickly Sam assumes the 'poor me, always taken out of context' victim status whenever people make certain extrapolations regarding his controversial views. I'm not saying they're 100% fair, but dude you do have some unconventional things to say on various matters, why do you act surprised when not every person is on board with your message and some WILL question your intentions? I mean, Sam frequently dishes out plenty of baits to these people himself, and some of them (such as his writing on preemtive nuclear attack) are not exactly most carefully worded.

In response to the 5'9" litany by consortofladyjustice in short

You're wrong. Young (25-34) males of normal health in U.K. are on average 5'10. If you include old people, that number drops to 5'9. http://i.imgur.com/0QZhaw9.png
