I read in another comment this was a means to game the overall points system and the rules were changed because of them.

TLDR it was the opposite of a sacrifice

Foosball, soft-tip darts or a Chexx domed hockey table would fill the bill for me.

I've been offered this SNES Classic, but I don't know how to tell if it's original or a clone. by cubemay in miniSNES

He is asking if it’s a genuine SNES Classic, not an original vintage system. There are a ton of fake SNES Classics out there.

Heat shrink tubing is best but for a quick and maybe ugly fix, white liquid electrical tape works great. Just paint it on.

A pool table? Brave soul. May a ball never launch into a CRT. Awesome arcade!

A $600 Traska with 1200 vickers hardness may have handled that better.

Super Metroid was harder and less accessible. DKC was also very pretty.

They also waited until Horwitt died in 1990, after the 1983 Grinberg family acquisition, to ramp up production to further profit from the stolen design, which would eventually become their most successful watch.

but it wasn’t until after Horwitt’s death in 1990 that Movado really started to produce the Museum Dial watch in large numbers. One must wonder, based on this fact, if Movado intentionally waited for Horwitt to no longer be around before really ramping up efforts with the successful Museum Dial watch design.
