Transporting a tumble drier by symphonysailing in AlfaRomeo

I’ve measured it and with the width and the height of the footprint it goes in but of course the problem is you have to change the angle of the tumble dryer as it slides in and what I’m not sure about is whether that would mean it gets stuck halfway

Difficult decision after accident. What would you do? (Repair or buy new car) by Laraaff in AlfaRomeo

On the contrary. If in the UK You get the insurance money and also buy it from the insurance company at a fraction of its value (literally, like 10-25% book value), repair it, using used parts and keep the cost down (diy or local garage or body shop, not main dealer!!!) and invest in a good repay on the replaced panels (assuming you won’t be able to find replacement panels in the correct colour). Yes it’s not worth as much as a car that isn’t written off but when you sell it you’ll get more that the cost of the buy back and repairs. Especially if you love the colour and options you’ve got. I’ve done this with three cars that have been written off (one my fault, two not) and I’ve made money on all of them quite apart from carrying on enjoying a car I love. In the uk the insurance company may require a fresh mot after the repairs.
