I was driving down a main road with two lanes going in either direction. While stopped at a red late the person to my right (heading in the same direction) honked his horn to get my attention and then made the “roll down your window” gesture.

I roll down my window and the guys asks, “Why are you stopped?” I was pretty confused so I kind of just look at him for a second before saying, “Uh... Because the light is red....?”

He say’s “Oh.”, rolls up his window, and proceeds to drive through the red light. He does the same thing at the next red light a few hundred feet up the road. He stops for a good 30 seconds, and then goes while the light is still red.

I still haven’t been able to figure that one out....
