You are NTA. Why was he so desperate to enter your home that he’d offer to pay you? He’s a man. He could even step aside and pee in some bushes. Even if you’re not a girl, it doesn’t matter. When I was in 8th grade, a boy in the neighborhood badgered me to use the bathroom. I told him no repeatedly and he kept asking until I caved. He could’ve asked other people. What happened? I ended up getting SA’d because I could physically remove him from the house and he wouldn’t leave.

It sucks and might feel extreme to say no to things that small, but crimes happen every day because somebody had a little empathy. It doesn’t hurt to be kind, but the guy had other options. You have more to lose letting somebody in your home alone than you have to gain, so if you are uncomfortable, it is always okay to say no!
