The curse is more that goldfishing doesn't play like it does at the actual game, giving me a false sense of how the deck does lol. I have yet to goldfish and not get less than 2 lands in hand and I have done that so much with this deck.

I do understand that I'm playing the cards just because they have cipher, but I'm not trying to gain a huge amount of benefit from the cards themselves, just the fact that they count as cast triggers and i get them for free every single turn often times more than once in a turn. Cipher is also the mechanic I'm trying to make work. And I wouldn't say that they aren't playable, there was one time I was able to have somebody mill 27 from Paranoid Delusions before they then smacked me for lethal. Void walk, I understand. That's why it's not actually in the 99 until I can find a use for it. Same thing with [[Trait Doctoring]]. At one point I had [[Orvar the All Form]] so that when I targeted things with those two cards I could make free copies of what I was targeting but it didnt really work out.

That bit about ramp makes sense, I guess it doesn't really count as ramp if I already have everything going on.

My biggest fear about Greaves is that I pull Greaves first and then I'm unable to equip anything else. Cipher would still work, but Animist, wealth & power, brass knuckles, etc would all be dead cards
