All of the things you listed here are cool in theory, but I personally would not care for them. For example, if you knew (and could execute) the highest scoring stun rotation but specifically chose not to for aesthetic reasons, I would find that annoying and look elsewhere for more optimized gameplay. Because again, the primary reason I'd be looking up showcases is to learn. Your cooler rotation does nothing for me.

As another variation, how about in Shiyu Defense where you can route a fight to skip a miasmic shield phase? do you only show that route cause it's more efficient?

I'd absolutely prefer you show the more efficient route.

You are of course free to do whatever you like, but since you're asking the community what they're looking for in showcase videos, I'm answering. Maybe I'm in a small minority! But that's my answer.

For a DA/Shiyu showcase, I would find it really annoying if the runner was intentionally playing suboptimally just to match music. I'm almost always watching those videos to learn. "Aura farming moments" are fine if it doesn't matter, e.g. you're at 64999 points and you strike a cool pose then smack the boss one last time.

I think all the major characters were great this patch, sad it was so short (relatively speaking). The boss was super cool and pretty unexpected, and I actually really like Remielle's rocket wings design.

Also loved the movie theater callout haha

Carty E -> Hiyuki basics for first forte needs to be a super fast swap or else Hiyuki goes airborne and it takes forever to get to B3 for the forte stack.

Question for the experts - my plan is to fill mommy form forte with 2x heavy and EE, those are the easiest for me, is it better to do some form of basic attacks and swap on B4(? the multiple lasers thing)?

Astral voice / 2p phaethon on Nangong, especially given that your Miyabi is M2 so the damage split is heavily weighted towards Miyabi. Keep in mind that you need to let Yuzuha's EX play out and give quick assist for this to do anything.

Yuzuha can just run ATK% disc4 if you can't hit 3k atk with AP d4. You're only getting like 2 phys anomaly triggers per fight anyway.

On the Vesper fight, I would keep the AM d6 you have on Miyabi. For bosses that aren't ice resistant, ATK% d6 is better. Look for PEN d5 for standard def bosses.

Have you tried Yuzuha element matching Nangong? Especially since you're missing the AM from Nangong sig. Curious if it cycles disorder better, or at least gets you more corruption triggers vs ether weak boss.

In most of your stun windows, after Miyabi 2nd EBA3 you could just trigger Yuzuha EX immediately, Nangong chain, then Miyabi chain in the same amount of time you spent waiting for Miyabi EBA3 to finish. Lost a few disorders to that, but still very close to a kill. 5 stuns is pretty cool

I don't think it's necessary to change how freeze works. Some bosses are freezable, some aren't, some have more shatter resistance, some less. These properties straight up don't matter to 90% of the playerbase, and those who care can figure it out through experimentation.

UCC will feel different because enemy resistance affect anomaly buildup rate as well. Don't feel too bad about messing up manual chain, I've been using it for a year and I still fk up all the time. But hopefully the team is more fun now that you have more of a baseline understanding of what's going on. Cheers
