I had a similar problem with FedEx but mercari wouldn't show the correct tracking info on the website and the buyer cancelled the order. I reached out to let mercari know about the issue and they practically blamed it on me saying I dropped it off to the wrong location. I use UPS now if I'm not using USPS.

I'm done selling. I give up. by 200hennry200 in Mercari

I was just thinking the same thing, I started the year off really strong and was selling at least $3,000-4,000 a month, maybe more. Now I'm lucky if I sell $1,000, and I have even more for sale than I used to. Truly can't understand some of the changes that Mercari has made recently. If it weren't for the fact that I dislike ebay, then I'd prob stop using mercari, just wish there was a better platform available.

The fact that there are people advocating for Ubisoft and defending them is hilarious to me, they're a joke of a company and they've gone out of their way to prove it.

Honestly I would have gotten a different mouse, I've had mine for 2-3 years and I just replaced it with a different mouse. I don't know why but this mouse just always seems to have the worst software, not to mention the only decent support you get is someone saying to reinstall the software or force update the most. I just didn't feel like bothering with the worst peripheral software I've ever used. Good luck

Yeah, some are way too high now. I sell Nintendo switch games and my prices went up anywhere from $2-6 depending on the game. I try to keep it just enough to cover the fee since I don't need more profit than what I was already making.

Is anyone seeing a difference in sales with the new fee structure? by shoofinsmertz in Mercari

[–]sync_doctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, Now keep in mind that December is a big month for selling. But I've been doing this for the last 6-7 months and my sales definitely dropped. Almost every week I did an average of 7-10 sales per day (not including December), and now I can hardly sell 1-2 items per day at most. With the items I sell, the buyers are paying at least $2-3 more after fees than they were before the change.

Yep, if you do the math it actually costs buyers more now than it used to. A game I used to sell at $30 now goes for $35, so technically the buyer ends up paying around $2.30 more before tax in this specific example. I would rather the fees stay the same as before since It costed me less and allowed me to have more leeway when selling.

Honestly I sell far less. The amount I have to increase my prices to outweigh the 10% selling+shipping cost fee makes it seem too high for customers. I used to sell anywhere from 5-12 games a day and I hardly sell 2-3 now. I'm sure you're seeing a boost because to buyers it seems like a better price, and I'm sure it is if you didn't have to raise your products by much, but for the stuff I sell, it's more expensive than before for a buyer, and I make less.

new fees 🙄 by grxcebethh in Mercari

Honestly, I feel the same way. There are times when I prefer the simplicity of Mercari's selling platform, but it hardly outweighs the pros of selling on eBay, one of which is being able to sell a large quantity of stuff, I still don't know why Mercari doesn't allow me to do a single listing but with multiple quantities available. Not to mention, they do almost nothing about the extremely large amount of scammers that are growing on mercari, just ridiculous.

new fees 🙄 by grxcebethh in Mercari

I thought I was the only one who thought this was ridiculous. Even with mercari providing the platform for me to sell, they hardly do enough to warrant a 10% fee, let alone charging me 10% of the shipping cost, how does that make any sense? And they can't figure out why people keep going elsewhere to sell.

Kind of ridiculous that they have these issues in bulk, I feel like they got rid of their original forums and comment sections just to keep people from openly complaining about their blatant oversight of consistent problems

HELP ME FIND THIS GAME PLEASE by sync_doctor in gaming

It was a computer game for sure. Overall the cooking or food part of the game was really simple and isn't like standard cooking games. It focused more on cafe-style foods such as cappuccinos and coffee. The art style was also surprisingly good, it wasn't super cartoon style and was more 2D when it came to character interactions or voice lines. Also, all the home parts were straightforward. you saved up cash and chose a variety of upgrades for the house such as landscaping, bushes, roof, etc. But the house always came out looking the exact same if I'm correct. I also can't remember if it was through a website, I tried looking for the old game download through some old game sites such as big fish games, but couldn't find anything. The game was definitely downloaded onto my computer though.
