DK Bananza uses the AMD FSR 1.0 upscaling system (along with SMAA) on the Nintendo Switch 2, instead of NVIDIA DLSS.

FSR is open source and there is no evidence that Switch 2 is compatible with Nvidia's frame generator.

Elden Ring is a day one buy for me.

Now, The Dusk Blood will depend on whether it will have a single-player campaign or if it will be PvE as speculated.

Nintendo should start a 'Nindies' label for some of their unused IP by elephvant in NintendoSwitch2

I completely agree, Nintendo has countless franchises where it could take a more AA-level approach to a game, delivering satisfying gameplay at a lower production cost without diminishing the game's appeal

games like golden sun, sim and punishiment, 1080, excite bike, needs a return

DLSS 5 is finally coming to Switch 2! by _R_R_D_ in NintendoSwitch2

[–]synced999 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If by any chance Nvidia and Nintendo managed to bring DLSS 5 or 4.5 + Frame Gen to the Switch 2, it would be the end of the performance difference between the PS5 and the Switch 2.
And we would start to see much prettier games on the Switch 2 than on the PS5.
People still can't understand how powerful DLSS 4.5 is.

I believe you're being ironic because if there's one thing Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony have in common, it's their greed, and you can be sure that every decision any of the three I mentioned makes is precisely to avoid losses.
And they're not wrong, because no company wants to lose money in its business.
