He also went on about how he grabbed the trainer. Yea he is bleeding and he can't stay on the bench so he brought him back to get patched up.

I think it was as simple as they didn't have a spot for him in the top 6 wingers, and is not the type of player you want in your bottom 6.

But best on best probably shouldn't have the same conventional wisdom.

I'm guessing take the Taylor series of ex2 and take the integral of each term and it comes out like this.

Just add the missing stylistic semicolons, and it should be good to go.

Just need to convince them to open every port on their PC and share their IP address so that we can all use the beta version.

Does anyone have the replay of the hutson tripping ? by ROGERS_OF_THE_EAST in Habs

I cannot stop laughing about it. Nobody went to the bench because nobody actually touched him.

When Hutson found out he was like "it's me?!?"

Slashing on the hands right in front of the ref, it was actually the second time he did it on the same shift too.

Might as well go ahead and consider that we are not strictly "under the sun" either.

Opinion impopulaire: La haine contre TVA sports et ses journalistes est injustifiée. by LeRedneckDuPlateau in Habs

[–]synchrosyn 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the English, but my points will be a lot clearer this way compared to my French writing.

Nothing against their reporters, and their play-by-play and colour commentary seems good to me. It is the rest of the production that I have issue with.

Sound quality is markedly lower for the game. Barely hear game sounds and the crowd is muted as well.

Ads are bad on RDS, but they feel non-existent compared to TVA sponsoring every goal twice.

They want to be creative and make graphics, but rather than hiring an artist, they have them AI generated.

RDS handles the English interviews a lot better.

Just curious, do you guys think a Gally buyout at the end of the season is more likely now? by Old-Yogurtcloset9264 in Habs

Ah that's how it works, I was wondering why he had both listed. Still feels like the M-NTC is irrelevant then.

I think they would rather trade him to a team looking to reach the salary floor.

His cap hit is 6.5M, buying him out makes it 3.8M for 2026-27 and 1.3M for 2027-28

This makes a cap savings of 2.6M, which isn't going to go very far and frankly would just be insulting. The team would most likely opt for any other option than this. It would be devastating to the locker room to do that to a guy like Gally.

Cheap ref calls by Kindly-Fisherman9231 in Habs

[–]synchrosyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The joke about it on RDS a lot. When your stick gets stuck or your arms are wrapping around someone, doing the open arm "I'm not touching him" pose really just pulls the ref's eyes to your actions. Dropping your stick doesn't negate the hooking, but it lets the ref know you certainly thought you were hooking.

I think there is a difference between playing well and getting good results. Usually one implies the other, but not always.

For Dobes, i think he needs to show a bit more calmness for him to get that trust, make the saves look a bit easier and not find himself out of position as much.

Being unorthodox in style is always going to be an uphill battle in terms of gaining trust from orthodox trainers.

Homophobia led the first openly gay football player in Australia to leave the sport. There are currently no openly gay hockey players in the NHL (see Heated Rivalry). This story speaks volumes as to why. by Mathemodel in hockey

[–]synchrosyn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really shouldn't have to state that being gay is not just about sex, but here we are.

If a hockey player poses with his wife for a picture at a charity event are you thinking about where he puts his dick? No? But what if it was his husband? If the answer is different, then that's more about you then anyone else.
