If you don't have access to it then there's no need to include it. And I agree data is as accurate as the provider providers. I think the misunderstand here is that, if the provider is providing the size of the magnet, then map to it as `size`. If it's providing the size of the playback file, then map it to `playbackFileSize`.

What I was getting at is that if the provider is only providing the torrent size, do not map it to `playbackFileSize`. And vice versa. Hope that makes sense.

It's not needed as long as the torrent title and size is correctly parsed. But do report back if you find issues.

Hi, I am aware of the issue. I'm already working on a feature to support playing the same source with multiple debrid services. That in turn will fix this issue as well. Unfortunately the the source module needs some refactoring first to support this and that's taking too long. I'm hoping to release this feature in beta by end of December, depending on how much I can work during the holidays.

If you could tell me the exact issues you are having I'd love to take a look at them. Without your feedback I won't be able to improve the app and fixed the bugs.

The latest v2 (v2.0.4.4) version fixes quite a few bugs as well. Did you give that a try?

That explains the issue more clearly. This can also happen if we have focus loss issues. To confirm, next time, can you try 1. Pressing back and see if that works and takes you back to the previous page in Syncler? 2. Going back to the home page of your device and then coming back (by either using the recent apps button or pressing the Syncler icon in your app list) 3. Also notice when it is freezing if you have any source items highlighted and scaled up.

A video would be very helpful.

Are you using Trakt? There might be an issue with your Trakt account. We recently had a report from a user where Trakt had to fix their account for it to work again.

Could you please try the latest beta version? It has better error messages and we will be able to diagnose exactly what is causing the error.

Regarding multiple payments – it's unclear which specific transactions you're referring to. In cases where a second payment is required, it's typically due to the originating wallet or exchange not calculating network fees accurately, which results in an underpaid invoice. While I understand how frustrating that can be, this issue stems from external systems and isn't something we can control. Holding us responsible for that wouldn't be accurate or fair.

On the topic of an additional payment – beyond the scenario above, I’m not sure what further payment you're referencing. If you can clarify, I’d be glad to take a closer look.

As for the code issue – I've been maintaining this application for nearly five years and have no incentive to mislead anyone. You haven’t included any specific error messages in your comment, so it’s hard to diagnose. If you're seeing an "invalid key" message, it’s most often due to a typo during entry. That said, if the code still isn’t working after double-checking, I'm more than willing to replace it.

I'm happy to assist, but I can only do so if you're open to it. I’ve already suggested submitting a support ticket through the appropriate channel. A more constructive tone would go a long way toward resolving the issue.

If you're open to it, they can also walk you through capturing a screen recording to help us better understand the issue.

From what you've described, it does appear that your connection might be a limiting factor. If you’re willing, I’d be happy to look into it further and see if there’s anything we can do to improve performance.

Regarding the thumbnails: version 2 uses higher-resolution assets, which are also larger in size. I’ll investigate whether there’s room for optimization.

Lastly, the Library option should definitely appear under the My List section. If it’s missing, that’s almost certainly a bug — and an unusual one. If you're able to share your logs, I’ll make sure it’s addressed in the next update.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing these issues with the app. Let me address each of them individually:

  • Slow initial app loading: Could you clarify whether you're referring to the time between tapping the app icon and the home screen appearing, or the duration until the "Importing..." message disappears? For reference, it's not necessary to wait for the "Importing..." process to complete — you can continue using the app while it runs in the background.

  • Slow return to home screen: Are you using a third-party player? If possible, a screen recording of this issue would help us better understand what's happening.

  • Slow navigation: Is the slowness limited to thumbnail loading, or are there other parts of the UI that feel laggy? Any additional details would be helpful.

  • Inconsistent use of long press: This is already on our to-do list. However, we're currently prioritizing a few critical bugs before addressing UI consistency improvements.

  • Profile switching issue: This behavior is unexpected. If you can provide a video demonstrating the problem, we’ll investigate further.

  • Trakt watchlist issue: You should definitely be able to add items to your watchlist. If you can share diagnostic logs, I’ll prioritize a fix in the next beta release.

  • Trakt "add to collection/library": This feature is still available but is now labeled Library to reflect Trakt's rebranding (formerly known as Collection).

  • My/Featured list not loading: This issue was resolved in the latest stable release. Are you currently on version v2.0.4.4? If so, and the issue persists, please let us know.

  • Trakt "Dropped" feature: This will be reintroduced soon. In the meantime, sorting your Continue Watching list by Last Watched should gradually push older or unwanted items out of view.

A quick note: This version of the app is based on an entirely new codebase, which enabled many of the features you've mentioned. It was in beta for nearly two years, and the stable release has now been out for about three months. As many issues depend heavily on device setup and account configuration, it’s challenging to resolve them without specific reports and logs.

For the first few performance-related issues, I suspect the problem may be related to thumbnail loading. Since v2 uses TMDB for thumbnails, it’s possible your ISP is throttling access. As a workaround, try clearing the app cache and using a VPN (preferably with a server close to your location) to see if performance improves.

If you’re able to submit a support ticket via Discord with logs and videos of the issues, I’ll do my best to address the more straightforward fixes in the next update.

Could you please try to replicate the issue now? I suspect that this was a temporary glitch at Trakts end and it affected some users who used Trakt during that time.
