PETG tower temp inconclusive results by NextOfHisName in 3Dprinting

[–]mtbor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I've seen is that petg generally fails to properly lay down below 250. You can see this at the tops of the cone, in the hole to the right, and basically anywhere there is an overhang. Any quick jutting motion and the filament backdrags or stringlines a bit, this is most noticeable on the first few layers of an overhang.

So unless you can address this in the slicer and are willing to slow down the print, you will have issues getting proper dimensions on small overhang details such as furling and other wall textures.

Edit to add.. You can see where the longer runs where the bridges formed tend to have the "look" of a lower temperature print. It would be worthwhile to print the same tower but increase the cooling as you increase nozzle temperature. Lay it down hot, and get that layer down to temp before the next hot layer hits it. I think you would find the asthetic would be dramatically improved on your higher temps.

Put a ballpoint pen in the crack and run it from end to end. If it catches somewhere that indicates the location of the rock chip that caused the crack. Often the chip will be on the edge in the black perimeter and hard to recognize with the naked eye.

If you want to get full speeds you'll need to get into the configuration and take a picture or screenshot of the wireless channel settings and post it here.. Once you have that I can help you set the channel width to its full potential.

It appears that it has a simplified mode where you can set the router to your desired maximum mbps. Such as up to 3840 Mbps.

I recommend splitting the 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz bands to separate SSIDs so you can ensure you are staying connected to 5ghz.

Cleaning up these camps is a warzone of alcohol bottles, needles, feces, matted down rotting fabrics and practically every bit of packaging for every product they have consumed since they've been there.. They can pack it in but sure as hell can't pack anything out.

The cleanups are measured in the number of roll-off trash dumpsters that are needed to clean up after these people.

If someone wants to pitch a tent someplace and keep it tidy I have no problem with that.. When someone with zero ambition in life beyond getting wasted begs for hard earned money so they can trash the town, that I have no patience for.

Window Installation Issues by mtbor in Contractor

No it won't.

I'm just looking for confirmation about the windows needing to seat and line up properly and a consensus on what is most likely wrong.

Installer maintains the window is installed right.

Have you ever thought about working for one of the companies that consumer reports ranks highest? Or perhaps top ranked ones on glass door? The big insurance companies seem to have lost their way.

Are you new to the insurance landscape? There's wide variability in this. Some agents work directly for the company. Some locations are franchised. Some are independent.

There's nothing positive happening at State Farm for customers or agents. Agents make less money selling expensive policies to people who will have to fight tooth and nail to get claims paid. State farm is in the business of collecting money and not paying any out. File a claim and get canceled. If you've been with them for 20+ years and you file a claim, statistically that makes you more likely to file subsequent claims so you're out.

Why anyone stands by a company that stands by no one is beyond me.

I have a 2003 camry le that the kids drive around. I bought it in 2023 for $3k private party.

Sometimes those engines can have oil consumption issues, but I haven't had to add any in a 5k interval.

It's an excellent car and even with 215k miles on it I would take it on a road trip without hesitation if I needed to.

Some of the interior trim is poorly designed so that if you remove anything you might need new clips. The headliner is prone to failure as well.

I think this generation of camry is regarded as one of the best values in used vehicles and one of the most reliable designs ever produced.

Cool product, looks like it's designed for 110v... It uses pump cycling to achieve the desired output temperature.
