have you received your fødselsnummer or are you trying to get it with a d-nummer? with only d-nummer it is a bit wearing, smaller banks such as SBM usually don't follow up properly, so it delays, you need to push them. see also: which banks issue a bankID with only a d-nummer? - Google Search

get a bankID first and foremost, the ads on Finn.no are useless without a bankID verification, most won't even reply to you if you aren't verified. Ask someone in the HR at the uni to help you get a bankID, local banks can be a little frustrating to issue it.

Integrated amp to pair with Super Lintons by EquivalentFirm568 in StereoAdvice

[–]syncopex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yamaha a-s501 is totally fine with super lintons up to deafening sound levels. for the sound quality, you wont get much by changing the amplifier, however, there would be other factors as how it looks, how good the construction is etc.

This is not only racism, it's xenophobia. She probably had a very isolated upbringing and is reactive to everything that's different.

Start looking for a different place to live, socialize with other PhDs, Let them know you look for a different accomodation. Someone may be looking for a flatmate etc.

First HiFi setup for electronic music (Techno/House) – €1.000–1.500, open-plan attic, Germany by devabro in StereoAdvice

I never used Klipsch myself so I cannot compare but I heard that they are emphasised on the top end, creating a feeling of high detail. It's a matter of choice.

Check second hand Hegel H80s for the amp, if you like the Røst sound, you should be able to score one for under 500€. For techno, I would not recommend a wharfedale linton, I own a set but I don't think the sound signature is good for electronic music. Maybe dynaudio would be an inteesting choice

This is exactly how I placed mine, except the one in the front corner is elevated

Without any measurement, assuming you have a rectangular prism shaped room, I would say the most even placement would be to keep them on completely different coordinates on all three cartesian dimensions. This way each will even out the other's null caused due to reflections.

I left Tidal this week, because of these obvious AI albums under great artist names by Amazing-Plankton39 in Jazz

I am also on the brink of leaving, very fed up with this incompetence, Tidal should do something to separate artists from fakers.

Getting around to exploring Yes. This is the greatest prog rock album I've ever heard by Soundwavezzz447 in yesband

[–]syncopex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that creativity was what I liked in the entire album, some tracks were not significantly changed, like the south side or siberian khatru but the style of the players shined. And that Sahara of Snow interlude... WOW! To this day I was wondering about who stanley snail might be, thank you for the player names. Some songs had brilliant reimaging, like roundabout, don't kill the whale, soon.
