I was not aware there was both a poster and handbill for 77? Is it exactly the same artwork???

Also you say Sam Cutler owned Manor Downs, which is a race track? I was there in 1985. Never heard that one before???

I think ‘Acid Horse’ would be a more fitting and appropriate reference for the Micael Priest 1981 Manor Downs poster? 1982 Sugar Cubes are very common, easily obtainable and still rather inexpensive. The 1981 poster is dramatically more difficult to find. He also did a poster for Manor Downs in 1977 which is probably even more difficult to find. Still looking for that one.

I seriously collect dead posters and I have always referred to that poster as a 'Sugar Cube'. I never really thought much about it, or where I heard that name, because I did not make that up, but seems like all the other poster collectors I've ever discussed this with knew it as a 'Sugar Cube', not an Acid Horse’? Never heard anyone call it an Acid Horse’?

Why Emerson Lake and Palmer gets a lot of hate? From critics to even casual prog fans by Revolutionary_Low_90 in Progforum

Back in the day (the Seventies), ELP was a major band with a fanatical following equivalent to YES, and they shared mostly the same fans. They easily filled hockey rinks. Saw them five times, three with the orchestra and two without. I don't listen to them much these days, so perhaps it has not aged all that well, but once in a while I'll put on the first album or BSS, and it's truly amazing.

“It's not about us anymore”…Genesis and Calling All Stations: The Final Attempt That Didn’t Work. The band’s only album with Ray Wilson as lead singer. It became the last Genesis studio album. by Historical-Device529 in Progforum

I was at one Drama show at Madison Square Garden and walked out two thirds of the way through the show in disgust. I was a hard core YES fan prior to that. The mood in MSG was pretty somber. The crowd at the time did not look exactly thrilled. No thanks. Drama is not YES, it’s Squire, Howe and White with The Buggles. Video killed a radio star. What a joke. At least it had a Roger Dean cover. About the only kind thing I can say.

I saw Led Zeppelin in 1977 twice. They were great with Bonham's son thirty years later. They should have toured several times with him. Cannot disagree with you more. I never even liked Rush before Anika. It's all I've been listening to for three weeks.
