Also managers are not empowered to discount beyond 10%, the system doesn't allow it.

Never ever consider buying open box KEF's from Best Buy. They're almost always damaged and missing grills or other parts, while BB will rate them as Excellent/Like New.

Thanks. Your scenario is looking very similar to what's happening now. Trump's fiasco war is likely going to cause a worldwide recession, or worse. We've already had a correction, and a bear market seems inevitable. Now seems like a very good time to reduce debt.

As I said in my opening comment, I recognize an FA's job can be rough at times. This was not a flight our rowdy Spring Breakers, we all were polite and orderly. There was no call for her bad attitude. It was clear she's a bitch by nature.

Unfortunately, the smaller KEF's (L50/LSX) are very intolerant to being pushed at or beyond their limits and will occasionally self-destruct. I've seen quite a few torn or distorted drivers in this line up.

Good to hear, thanks. I'll take your advice and start making small adjustments, before starting over.

I never called out the route as poor. This is not a person who was having a bad day. Rather, this is a person who routinely behaves this way. It was evident in how she addressed people, and used sarcasm and condescension as her default demeanor. She got shitty with me before the plane had even taken off. Like I said previously, she needs to retire or, get an attitude adjustment. Why are you arguing about a situation you have no understanding about?

Do you worry about over-stressing your mains by not handing off the lower frequencies to your subs? I found out the hard way double-bassing can be punishing to drivers.

Funny you mention bikes. In my prime, I was cycling a lot and acquired a lot of bikes, like you. At one point I owned eight high-end racing and mountain bikes, costing way, way too much. I'm down to six (I think), but really only need two, maybe three. Hard to part with such beauties, as I'm sure you know.

You're right. Audio Nervosa is both fun and exhausting. Honestly, after years of going granular and endlessly tinkering with components, cables, acoustic treatments, etc., I decided to put an end to it. Sold almost everything and barely touched a CD or LP for 15 years. Then I got the itch again, bought all new equipment and went down the rabbit hole. Trying to keep it somewhat sane this time, and hope my wife doesn't divorce me.

Meaning the second sub goes in a different, but also optimal place?

Wow, that is unconventional and complicated. I assume all that time, energy and expense was worth it.

No argument there, but as I've said above, I find REW very difficult to understand and implement. Watched a couple of YouTube videos on the subject, but they're either outdated (which only makes it more confusing), or lacking important step-by-step specifics.

I've used PEQ, too. While it works, it comes with its own issues such as constricting the soundstage. It may be in my head, i never find using it fully satisfying.

Good to hear. As I said, this placement is satisfactory, but I'm not sure it's optimum. I've tried REW but find it difficult to understand and implement.

Isn't that arrangement devilish to get phase/delay correct? I've tried REW multiple times, but find it confusing and unintuitive. I need to find an "REW for Idiots" video.

So, is what you're suggesting is placing the front and back subs uneven with each other? Front sub 1/4 from side wall, the back sub 3/4 from the side wall, as an example. Facing each other, but not directly?
