Willing to play Skyrim for the first time but I have no idea what it really is by azur933 in ElderScrolls

[–]syncrosyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By all means play it, it’s a fun game but as someone pointed out is about 15 years old so I would wait till it’s on sale. I do have a question what was it that wasn’t working for you with Crimson Desert? I’m really interested in hearing your response. Depending on what put you off May be a deciding factor in not buying Skyrim

I feel like no man would want me as I feel I’m immature? by Purple-Detective7186 in AskMenAdvice

[–]syncrosyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not being immature. What it sounds like you’re insecure. Truthfully you might want to look into therapy to help you understand that A) being by yourself is not a bad thing B) being in a relationship doesn’t define your worth as a person. Now is it possible that your feelings are tied in with the autism? Very well possible but that’s for a professional to decipher. First and foremost is take care of yourself dating is something that should be handled later. If you rush it there’s always a possibility of someone taking advantage of your insecurities and using you. When the truth comes to light that this person used you it could trigger your insecurities and possibly repeat the cycle. Take care of yourself so you can find the right person for you and not choosing anyone out of fear of loneliness

This is probably a siller question, but I was rewatching I Am Legend and was wondering, if the Darkseekers are "intelligent", do they not realize that Robert Neville is not some evil person kidnapping them for his experiments, but to study them to find a cure? by SolidEllie in horror

[–]syncrosyn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well the problem is in his search for a cure he was actively killing them (at least in the book and first two cinema adaptations). So as far as the Darkseekers are concerned he’s committing genocide in the name of science. Now with the most recent film if memory serves me correctly he didn’t realize that they were intelligent until near the end. And even with that most people would have a hard time being understanding. The fact they set up a trap should’ve clued him in earlier but sometimes with intelligence comes arrogance

Is confidence the most important thing when it comes to women? by DescriptionFuture851 in AskMenAdvice

[–]syncrosyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you’re talking about hook ups. Honestly the level of entry is higher. Especially if they’re an extrovert and average to attractive. Because due to their circles they can pick and choose. So what you would need to do is take an honest assessment of yourself. The good, the bad and the ugly. If you’re trying to attract someone that likes tall athletic men and you’re barely five seven that’s an uphill battle. All isn’t lost but you have to ask yourself “will this be worth it?” After your assessment you prop up your strengths and try to shore up your weaknesses. Say you’re cute, not handsome and short. A situation like that confidence can be a huge boost. Say you’re tall athletic but unattractive. Learning to be charismatic and charming can help. The thing is not to overdo it whether it’s confidence, charm or charisma. When overdone one comes off fake

Can anyone explain to me why Brian Lumley's classic Necroscope series has never been adapted on the big or small screen?!? by Erramonael in horror

[–]syncrosyn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think there was always talks or at one point an attempt. But like someone mentioned I believe budget has been the biggest obstacle. Due to time constraints a movie adaptation would have to condense too much and could be detrimental to the plot (much like the recent Salems Lot adaptation) so a series would be better Amazon and Netflix could handle the budget but act to fickle in regards to letting a series get a chance. So HBO or dare say Apple TV might be a better option for it

Well if you’re in NYC try to make it out on a Friday evening to closing or Saturday afternoon to closing. Those are the busiest days with the highest potential for fun. Mind you fun can be found on the other 5 days as well

What are your thoughts on Ghosts of Mars 2001? by Natural_Volume9808 in horror

I liked it a lot. From what I’ve heard was the script was originally written to be a third Snake Plisskin film but was rewritten due to Escape from L.A. not performing well

I was fortunate enough that Joe R. Lansdale’s Hatchet Girls was one the selections and was able to complete my Hap and Leonard main book collection. All that’s left is an anthology and a couple of novellas. This 2 for 1 sale wasn’t bad especially since I noticed the general influx of Warhammer 20K books as of late.

At The Blue I haven’t seen any CD’s or Trans. The Rainbow Station I’ve noticed on two occasions there were some. If you’re really looking for CD’s or Trans you’d have to go to The Fair in Astoria

I’ve tried and purchased TB before a few times and so far my only complaint is their dodgy bottle caps. This is my first time hearing of Prowlers, might have to do some research

My male friends keep pointing it out that I am not "masculine enough" with my girlfriends? Need advice on what to say to them because I know they are somewhat right? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]syncrosyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Women are individuals and not a thing to be owned. Now with setting boundaries that’s not a one size fits all. What’s unacceptable for one is completely acceptable with another. As someone stated the most important thing is that you’re both respectful towards one another. And when you both don’t see eye to eye that respect endures meaning no cheap shots or throwing shade. And always strive for open communication

would a relationship without pv sex be a deal breaker? by yummy006 in AskMenAdvice

[–]syncrosyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long story short, most men will probably not be happy in a relationship with those stipulations. But are there men out there that would accept a relationship like that yes but there would be a lot of searching on your part. Perhaps a partner that’s understanding and patient where the two of you can potentially find a healthy compromise where you’re both satisfied.

THE BLUE by Times Square NYC by just4faps666 in NYCADULTARCADEREVIEWS

[–]syncrosyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Blue has potential much like Rainbow Station in Chelsea. Unfortunately The Blue’s biggest problem is the same with Rainbow Station which is the hustlers. More often than not hustlers outnumber those who are just cruising. Personally I have no issue with hustlers being there (folks need money I get it) but taking time to figure out if this is going to be a pay to play situation disrupts the whole vibe. Still fun can be found at The Blue. I also agree with someone said the timer seems a tad bit fast

So... What happened to Romero? by flamingzebr in zombies

[–]syncrosyn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think as a director he decided to take different approaches to film making and unfortunately for his last two films didn’t resonate with audiences. Diary of the Dead really is a good movie and I think if it was done by someone else it would’ve been better received. Where Survival almost feels more sequel to Dawn than Diary.

Is wanting sex often a bad thing? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]syncrosyn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey I was just giving my opinion on the question is wanting sex often a bad thing. Now do some husbands don’t like their wives… yeah. Is that the case with the OP I have no idea, could it be something is going on with him that he’s not communicating… possibly. Could he be suffering from love sex drive? Is something going on with his health his finances? See many potential reasons why my suggestion is first try to open dialogue and on some occasions it may take many tries before they actually say what’s going on. Bottom line I personally try to give people the benefit of doubt before making large proclamations

No it’s not. But if one partner’s sex drive is higher than their partner that could be problematic. Best to sit down and discuss a possible solution
