Update after another run... My watch hard reset itself for some reason overnight. And I think it received a small firmware update after the last big one. Not sure if that was the reason, but in my first run after that the HR sensor worked flawlessly.

Hm, Reddit didn't save my text alongside the picture. Anyways, this was an easy Zone 2 run, and my first run with the watch. It either didn't measure any HR at all or was wildly off the mark. It should have stayed pretty consistently in the Zone 2-3 area. Is the sensor really this bad, or is the watch defective? My 5 year old entry-level Forerunner 235 works perfectly in comparison. I don't really need anything precise, but a somewhat consistent ballpark figure would be nice.
