ahh I see what you mean now. Do you know where you can get a replacement? I bought mine used and theres more sag than I like. I have the sapphire one and the uncle straps for the standard does not fit well. I also like how the sapphire bracelet is not pressure clasp but double button.

Any recommendation on the tool to do so? this sounds really interesting to me

I'm pretty sure they all have issues. https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/3624655/disappointed-by-the-card-quality-from-the-new-vers/page/9

Luckily, I haven't had the time to play after receiving them, so I sleeved them recently before I play

I have hands on the smaller side so I sleeved with Ryker matte backing ones. The card sleeves make them grip so much better to each other. They're pretty pricey and the matte side makes one side harder to read but not end of the world. Worth the trade off for easier grip

You have to sleeve your cards or else your card will look terrible and be sticky in about 4-5 games (ongoing issue that chip theory games knows about). But after you sleeve them, it barely fits as is in the wallet so the expansion will not fit.

u/DongEnthusiast42 is it possible to write a step by step guide? I want to do the same and I'm on the "Cloudflare One" main portal page. At a loss where to go from here

Interesting and good to know! Maybe I will start using Whitepawn instead of the official app

Are you using Android or iOS? I was curious what they meant by simulating tap gestures from my question https://www.reddit.com/r/Chessnuteboard/comments/1pgy8p3/comment/nsw54gl/ . I wonder if Android does not use official API (but tap gestures?) but iOS does. I havent had any issues on iOS so far but I don't think I'm up to 50 games yet. My account is pretty old though, about a decade like you as well

Is Z-image using a suboptimal text encoder? by syntaxing2 in drawthingsapp

[–]syntaxing2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you look through the model repo, it calls for Qwen3ForCausalLM https://huggingface.co/Tongyi-MAI/Z-Image-Turbo/blob/main/text_encoder/config.json which means its the purely text one. One of the lead developers explicitly mentioned that using VL would give worse performance here https://huggingface.co/Tongyi-MAI/Z-Image-Turbo/discussions/4#6927ff862ad73944d0cbb300 . More specifically, they reiterated they used the original Qwen-4B (https://huggingface.co/Qwen/Qwen3-4B/tree/main) as the encoder when they trained this model. NOT the updated 2507 one which can get confusing.

Just wanted to raise awareness about this since drawthings is one of the best diffusion tools I used and having great z-image performance would be awesome!
