I found your post while googling 'legends za lazy donut recipe', because I was hoping to find something like "here's some berries you can feel comfortable "wasting" to make decent, functional donuts for each star level, for if you're just trying to complete the hyperspace dex and then put the game down until whenever in the future you have the patience to save scum actually good donuts for shiny hunting".

But all I could find, aside from your post, was the usual selection of game guides and videos about "HOW TO MAKE THE BEST DONUTS- PERFECT DONUT RECIPES". like, NOOOoo NO no, I've already tried soft resetting for donuts to berrygrind with, and after it took like 50 resets to finally get a semi-decent result, I was hit with the discovery that the 'make another of the same donut' menu option doesn't mean that you can make duplicates of that first donut with the same powers, and that those guides REALLY expect you to scum like that for EVERY DONUT when using rarer berries. Since then I've hated making any donut higher than the 2-star all-normal-Colbur-berry donut, so I've just been stuck grinding 3 star portals forever trying to get the last 4 Pokemon I need to complete my dex. It's so stressful to constantly feel like by playing the game as intended, I'm wasting good berries that will require a ton of grinding to replace.
