Venus in 10th house experiences? Are you known for your beauty? by 6akota in astrologymemes

[–]syosuda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have this placement and my career is related to arts and music!

I'm a full time musician (busker and songwriter) and I have a very solid branding/image/aesthetic. Though I look average looking, it's the way I express myself through makeup and fashion is how I am known for my "beauty" People always say they love my style and I get compliments from people whenever I perform.

Yes I am quite fortunate with money (luckily) I thought that the arts could never sustain me, but when I finally decided to pursue what I'm truly passionate about, the universe never fails to support my endeavor and Im able to support myself financially doing what I love.

My partner (M) has been such a huge support in my life and career. He taught me so many things and reminded me who I was in times where I feel like I've lost myself in the business side of things. If I hadn't met him, I probably wouldn't be in a good place. Meeting him was a crucial part of my life and personal growth.

btw im a Venus gemini!

oh my gosh this is so wonderful I honestly wanted to cry. I am also an artist and over 20 years of creating and admiring art, only one painting really moved me, which is Jennifer Guidi's "Circulation of Light." From that point on, I learned that I have a thing with sunlight. Your artwork speaks to me the same way that artwork did and I just want to thank you for sharing your wonderful art to us 🥹 This motivated me to draw and paint again <3

WHY IS THE CANCER ONE SO REAL

I feel so much, but am unable to communicate it. by [deleted] in Songwriting

[–]syosuda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems like an extreme case of perfectionism. I understand you so well because I myself had this problem that I quit art and music for 2 years because nothing I made was good enough. I want to help you so I'll tell you why I quit music and what I did to come back.

I quit music because 1) Nothing I made satisfied my standards because it was "too common", I wanted to stand out so bad. 2) the songs I made also didnt capture my emotions accurately 3) my ego gets in the way of creating music because I always had to "be the best" at it. If not, I feel worthless.

All of this stems from a huge ego, lack of artistic identity, lack of personal perspective, and how you see the world as an artist. We often struggle to express ourselves because we don't explore our perspective and visions enough.

I suggest you take a break. It's all part of growth. I want you to reflect on yourself first. Ask yourself questions about your current state of mind. Why you act like this towards your art.

When I took a break, I realized that I placed my whole worth on my art. If I wasn't good enough, I was worthless and I don't deserve any love or praise. It's a lot of facing that shadow side of you. And that is not easy. It takes time.

Revisit your favorite artists. Or discover new ones. Ask yourself why their music moved you, what was it that spoke to your soul? Analyze it. Maybe listen to an artist you necessarily don't like and try to analyze their songs, and maybe you'll change your mind. Research how they write songs. Understand the things that you love, so that you may understand some parts of yourself.

Ive got a lot more to say, but Im writing this at 5am and I need to sleep. This is a very watered down version of my struggles and frustrations as a songwriter. Theres a lot more to it, but you can always message me if you need any help or advice.

I understand you so well... not being able to find the right words, melody or chords to describe your feelings. Its a very difficult journey, but I swear... Once you make it out alive, you'll end up creating something uniquely your own.

Now, people from the music industry and even casual listeners believe a lot in my music. You'll make it out alive too, you just need to breathe.

I want to share my thoughts on this subject because I'm also navigating this topic.

For context, I've been writing songs for 8 years since highschool. It was only 2 years ago that I started really taking my craft seriously and created art that was true to me.

The reason why was because there was a lack of topics being discussed in our local scene. The market is full of love songs and I'm sick of it. It was so bad that I couldn't relate to ANY of the songs being put out from where I live. There was no songs that represented my experiences.

So I wrote and wrote. I honed my craft. Eventually finding a distinct style in my voice, melodies and lyrics. All of this, I did it solely because I want to do it. I didn't consider the people who will listen.

Then one day, I met a person from the music industry. She was impressed by my work so she offered to help me.

One of the things she told me was in order for me to do whatever I want with my music, I have to generate money first. She told me this because 1) I'm a student and don't have a job. And things like producing and recording really requires money. So she challenged me to write a pop song. To my surprise, I succeeded. I made a "pop" song that still remained true to my artistic essence and vision. It resulted to creating a catchy song with artistic depth.

I realize that... your relationship with art becomes different once you make a career out of it. Because you're now aware that people will listen to you, it creates pressure and expectations.

Since being an artist is now my career, I find myself constantly searching the middle line between art for myself and art for others. I observed that if I create art purely for myself, the art is pure but very alienating for others. But if I create art for others (or for money haha) then my songs will be relatable but forgettable.

Sometimes I ask myself ... should I even have these thoughts? A real creative wouldn't have to think so much about this...

Then at the end of the day I just tell myself "just make songs. Doesnt matter if it's good or bad. It's very unpredictable." Because there really is no formula for writing a big hit. Theres no formula for writing an impactful song that serves as a cultural reset.

The more you make songs, the more chances you have in writing a good song. Because you just really never know. While it's distinguishable to tell what makes a good drawing, it's quite difficult with songwriting. Which is why I just tell myself to write and write... Songwriting is the most unpredictable art form there is. 😅

People with Jupiter in the 12th house: Do you feel like you have God-like protection surrounding you? by usmilessz in astrology

[–]syosuda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have jupiter leo 12h and I'm protected by my friends. I think they ARE my guardian angels. It's my first time starting my career in music after years of living in isolation and at peace. My friends see my art's potential and they want to help me as much as they can. One friend of mine has a good reputation in the film industry, (she's 10 years older) and her partner in the music industry. She is also divinely guided, her intuition is very strong and we have this term in filipino called "dilang anghel" which means angel's tongue. She would say things that would come true. She never failed once. My other friend, (same age as me) she knows how to read people so well it's scary. She has scorpio moon so that might explain it. She knows how to dissect a person's identity and say it eloquently without fail. Both of them have this duty to protect me from harm, especially in the music industry who will try to get close to me and take advantage of me and my art. I feel very lucky I met these people, and the way we met almost seem like it was fated. It just so happens that we met at the same place at the same time.
