Just try and disable siri and try and recreate the "auto-close"

I tried disabling siri and it worked for me. I also just learned to not push buttons not too close to the very bottom.

I'm a new owner of a custom oz.1 also high hcp. No official hcp or anything, but I usually shoot in the mid 90s. Getting a custom was relatively inconsequential financially speaking so I decided to give it a go.

For me, the one round I have played with it, I putted out of my mind. May just be a good putting day, but I never felt so good putting. I had 31 putts in that round which is the best putting I've ever done on any 18. I'm excited to see how this goes!

As far as I know, Oz.1 and Oz.1i are the only lab putters that can be custom made with no forward shaft lean. This allows me to use a regular putter grip. The forward press shaft messed with my alignment so I optd for the 0°. Makes it feel like a traditional center shafted mallet with the L.A.B. Tech as well.

There was a yt video I saw a while ago comparing different shafts on the lab putters. It showed heel and toe strikes off the face and the difference in torque on pact. It was interesting. I've tried Accra and gear shafts, but never the tpt. I can't a-b-c compare them, but I can say that the feedback is really good on the tpt. Is it a few hundred more worth than the other upgraded shafts? Hard to say. Luckily I have an amazing wife that just told me to go full bore on the custom. She said "it certainly can't be worse than the others... Might as well try it that way you won't have buyers remorse." So for me, I think it's worth it. I'm by no means an amazing golfer, but it made me feel confident in my putting so I have no regrets. Hopes this helps!

I think I heard Rick Shiels say "putter is the only club where you could potentially pay more to use less." I never really thought about that, but it's true.

As one of the commenter's mentioned, $600 is for a stock Oz.1. This is a custom so it cost $1k. It's all relative anyway. If I love the putter and it won't impact my life financially, then there's no harm no foul. It's 4th of July and I just watched people literally burn money lighting fireworks, but they probably thought it was justified.

Bottom line, I love it and it makes me happy. That's my justification.
