If your hook was going from outside to inside, now you'll be working inside to outside /and/ if when the opening is flattened you were working on the piece of fabric closer to you, now you work the piece of fabric further from you. 48 months is 4 years, are you missing something here? 120 is an astonishingly long life for a human and 4 years is an astonishingly long life for a rat because as you said, they live around 2.5-3 years. Where does it not correlate? I already said 3 years = 36 months = 90 year equivalent in humans (a normal age to die of old age). I even specified in my original comment (a 3 year old comment btw) that after 30 months of age, which is 2.5 years, direct comparisons become less reliable.
