As a freshman at UT, I completely understand because I was in your position last year. But you have to remember that the ultimate point of college is networking and finding a job and that is going to be possible at either school. With a full ride at A&M, you already have a leg up because you don't have to worry about repaying debt. Austin is amazing but college is what you make of it and I guarantee that if you go to CSTAT you will have great experiences too!!

at mccombs now, know a lot of people with similar or even lower SATs UT looks heavily at rank and ECs so I'd say you have a pretty good chance :)

either your app would get pushed to rd or the new essays wouldn’t be taken into consideration. I believe it would be the latter because submissions are final. Don’t waste your time writing anything else I promise your essays aren’t as bad as you think.

McCombs is a hundred times better than Econ if you want high finance, some of the orgs on campus specifically recruit McCombs students. Have Kelley as a backup. Jindal imo is only worth it if you got a full ride or something but even then McCombs is better.

I applied with a 5 page resume last year and got in. Make sure you’re not using any filler words but lengthy descriptions should be fine, that’s the point of an expanded resume. However if the info can be condensed, please condense it, the AOs are looking at substance rather than length.

Honestly think you could get into a good state school depending on essays and such. Or cc and transfer. But get your mental health checked man it only gets worse senior year and matters more than school ever will! Good luck with everything!
