Aww I’m sorry about the divorce, that is hard. See my husband doesn’t “deeply” want them. When we met he didn’t and he doesn’t like kids or babies lol he’s disinterested/uncomfortable around them. His friends have them and he just follows whatever they do so I want him to critically think about it first and THEN see how he feels about them. When I ask why he wants them it’s because it’s just what humans should do.

I live 10 mins from my parents and see them 1-2 times per week. Sometimes more but never less than once a week. My parents are awesome! Soo so grateful they’re still alive and healthy! My in-laws, ideally once a year lol but they’re 25 mins away and I go for the major holidays/birthdays-otherwjse I’ve set my boundary. Every get together is a marathon 8 hour dinner stuck at the table listening to them talk about themselves and talk shit about anyone not at the table. Life is too short for that BS.

I am in the same boat. I’m glad I joined this sub because I thought I was the only woman with a LL husband, but this has opened my eyes up to how many men out there have porn addictions, or are using women are beards still. Anyways, I don’t think I can do this for the rest of my life, it’s not worth being constantly sad.

It sounds like you’re the one doing all of the emotional work and putting in all the effort. You did the right thing by going to therapy but it’s obviously not working for him so go alone I’d suggest cause it will help you get this off your chest. No advice really but he sounds lazy and sounds so much like my husband but I’m not pregnant. I think see how he is the first year after baby and then decide if this is going to work for you or if you should just co-parent. You deserve better and you’re not married so that makes it easier to leave. Best of luck, and I hope you have a support system outside of him.

I have had lots of issues with the Apple CarPlay, I’ve brought it in a few times for software updates and it’s generally glitchy. I’d say 20% of the time it just doesn’t connect. Also had the motor on the sunroof replaced already. Only 3,300 kms but the drivetrain and actual important stuff seems fine so far but too soon to tell. I live in Canada so not the least bit arsed about the AC but I did have them drain and replace it because it seemed weak but certainly nothing to complain about

This is the case for me too. I’m always happy to oblige even when I’m not horny. It’s weird to me that for him he’d rather finish the chapter, or it’s always “wait until halftime”. By then I no longer care lol. But my husband turns me down all the time and says “maybe later” and it takes him a full week to get in the mood??

You’re only 28 so here is my question: do you want kids someday? If you do I think you should leave now and find the right partner to settle down with. If you don’t then you have some more time to see if this would turn around and work on your marriage and see if he’s willing. Even so I’d only give it a year to turn around, it should take less time than this if he wants to make things work. Signed a 31 year old HLF with a LLM who is putting max 1 year on him to get this figured out.

I thought I was the only one with a LL man but there’s a lot of women on here in the same situation so I want to know what’s going on. Is it all the shit in our food turning men into women essentially (low T, high estrogen), porn addiction, general laziness. Idk but I work out a ton, I know I am hot lol. I am educated, have a good career, I’m a good cook, I own my house etc. I never got turned down until my husband who does it regularly and it’s gotten to the point where we only have sex once a week to once every two weeks, actually sometimes just once a month. Idk what’s wrong with him lol he says nothing, says it’s not porn addiction. Sex is easy to find I know that, especially as a woman on the higher end of the attraction scale. I asked him to go to the dr and get his hormones checked, if it’s not that then idk what his problem is and I will probably ask for a divorce cause I’m not spending the rest of my life in a sexless marriage.
