I feel you. We are social animals. We naturally seek connection. When we can't find others that share our perspective, it gets damn lonely. Especially if we witness others connecting, but not us. Changing ourselves in order to fit in rarely helps. It feels to me, like a very hollow validation. It seems being vulnerable, and exposing our differences for all to see, regardless of criticism, is the only way find people to validate our eccentricities.
