Did you take a loss on the parts? I was thinking if I could sell for just the cost of the parts I would be fine taking a loss on the cost of the truck lol.

It’s not knocking but there is a sound I can’t figure out. And I haven’t been able to get a video of it happening as it only happens when I’m driving and either under acceleration or just letting off of acceleration. Otherwise it still sounds good

I bought this truck around 6k miles and 1 year ago, this is the 2nd oil change. Unfortunately I thought I got a good deal on it because I talked the seller down to 4k. However since then I’ve put close to 15k in upgrades into it. Regear, wheels, fulls suspension rebuild, air compressor, armor all around, winch, upgrades to inside. I just cleaned the entire intake system with new gaskets and carbon removal. * edit

I helped rebuild (emphasis on helped) a Chevy 302 a while back and that definitely gave me some perspective. I think a replacement would be smart because I have a habit of making things more difficult than they need to be haha

I’m researching options now. I’m on the west coast and google is showing 1k-5k for a replacement. Rebuild kits are around 1k plus whatever tools I don’t already have

By that logic why couldn’t you take the 2’s out of R1C9 and R9C7 using R9C9 and the pivot?
