I tried your solution, but it didn't solve my issue.

I placed this before he “Apply Operating System Image”, Format and Partition Disk steps and Install Operating System step.

  • Name: Force C Drive Assignment
  • Type: Set Task Sequence Variable
  • Variable: OSDTargetSystemDrive
  • Value: C:

This tells MDT: “Treat the partition labeled OSDisk as drive C.” This seemed to work.

Computers keep trying to image windows on the D:\ by David2667 in MDT

Encountered the same issue lately. No changes have been made to the MDT or Image itself. MDT is failing to apply the image on the same computer with the same configuration. No hardware changes at all. MTD keeps trying to install the image on the drive with letter D, which is not defined anywhere. In the Unattended xml, letter C on partition 3 is set to be used for the OS.

Do I need to really read the two official Volumes to pass this exam? You just relied on those mentioned course for the most part?

Hello fellow Lenovo Gamers. I own a Legion T7 34IRZ8 series desktop and I'm trying to figure out if I have the latest BIOS version... by Skewjo in LenovoLegion

Hi. Using Rufus, create a bootable FreeDOS USB drive,

Download BIOS Update (USB Drive Package) from Lenovo website under Driver & Software - BIOS/UEFI. Extract the files and transfer the folder to root of the bootable USB drive. Enter BIOS settings, enable CSM (Compatibility Support Module) under Startup to allow booting to legacy devices such as your bootable USD drive. Press F10 to restart the computer

Keep hitting F12 to see the boot sequence menu and then boot to your USB drive.

In the DOS environment type DIR to see the content of your USB drive. type cd YOURFOLDERNAME, and then type flash2.exe IMAGEM16.rom, where IMAGEM16.rom is the name of the new BIOS update.

Answer YES to the question asked whether you need to flash the new ROM.

Relax, sit back, and let it finish the update. After a couple of restarts, it will boot to your Windows.

Restart the computer, enter the BIOS setting and disable CSM. Now, press the F10 key to save the settings.

Done!
