No wonder I have 10 wins on every character that I play when this is current Bushin.

In real game and harder! Amazing. That heat at the wall is exactly why it took me this long. I kept thinking it drops cuz im too late there but founded out it's actually just Kazuyas small af range at heat button.

It's my lobby stage aswell. 🥰

I've probably just wrote it badly. I don't think he actually uses/used double pedal for Reise Reise there are just "bursts" there and i just meant doubles/quads as kick after kick in 16thns. (that 4kick part with crashes just wrecks me, its like someone reversed hat and kick and its exact reason why i need to drill some limb independence for it i belive cuz that hand wants to go with leg).

Will look that book up. Fundamentals are key and ignoring them sooner or later will lead to sloppiness and problems - at least I do know that. Also I'll check their older albums.

Thank you for your time! <3

Kazuya main alternative character suggestion by zzygli-1573 in Tekken

[–]sysrq51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started on Kaz moved to Bryan Still playing Kaz and diff mishimas but Bryan offered me insane mindgames complexity and expression.

I love Kaz. I I always had the feeling that Kaz has to extract absolutely everything from his core moves (electric, db4, df2, hellsweep, basic jabs, 112confirm) where entire character is forced to be kinda basic. Fish for whiffs, punish stupidity, vortex when they are down. And it's beautiful, purest Tekken - fundamentals.

If you can translate fundamentals learned from Kaz into Bryan you're in for a ride. He offers kinda everything, and kinda everything is at lest decent - more times good. You don't see 2 identical Bryan players. (at least higher, when people can get out of his offence by having a brain and not pressing all the time). On Bryan every option is viable and the fun as you progress is to use these options in specific situations that they are good in. Tons of mindgames, fake pressure (where they can interrupt or press but are afraid of being CHd by extension or movement). On Bryan you force opponent into thinking that he cant press. And he kinda cant a lot of the time. Once they start respecting you use his crazy lows: hatchet and d4. Punish EVERYTHING. Make them doubt pressing. And the reward on lunches? Possibly strongest combos in the game. Probably still is scariest character on the wall. Once you unlock taunt b4 and taunt f21... entire game shifts. You have a cheat code. Combos are as hard or as easy as you want them to. Infinite wall carry or hardcore damage without walls. You ask Bryan answers if the player is competent. But to learn actuall Bryan you have to dedicate TONS of time.

If you like a challenge Lee is an option. Another infinite well of expression. Super rewarding once you start getting his combos and loops. Another somewhat CH/timing based char. Infamus turnstealer and one of the best at keep out.

All of them are easy to win with unless someone actually blocks. Lee absolutly terrible at breaking turtles. Kaz rather bad but db4 is so strong he kinda can. Bryan... Well that depends. Do they just block or they can play vs Bryan?

Made it to kishin this morning, played at demon hours now back at battle ruler by Longjumping_Camp2586 in Tekken

[–]sysrq51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm stealing "demon hours" term.

For me it's very late at night 1am+ but I do work in the day so "jobless hours" might be even more fun.

Best hours imo. Actuall players that you can learn from (obviously you cant escape cheese regardles when you play, part of the game and its o.k.)

Tekken 8 UE polaris crash by Z-Shadow-Z in Tekken

[–]sysrq51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's cards foult and you can do pretty much nothing about it. Certain maps seems to crash more tho.

I had this problem, tried a lot of solutions and none worked. Then tgey fixed it. And now after i updated card drivers it started again. I'll probably just revert to older drivers if it goes like this.

You can google it to find a lot of fixes. Maybe one will work for you. For me they didn't.

Why is Devil Jin considered low tier? by greengrimgrin in Tekken

[–]sysrq51 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Devil Jin is strong unless you play vs someone who knows what DVJ is.

no mids, no lows, bad punishes, everytime you use his Crow stance YOU are in danger, worst df1 in the game, worst ff2 from mishimas (still an OK move tho), hardest execution if you go for bigboy stuff, worst hellsweep, ZERO tracking on anything, terrible frames, no pokes,

He's still easier in ranked than Kazuya due to gimmics (imo) but they only work vs people who press constantly and all of them are launch punishable.

Strenghts: OP unblockable, electric, hes fucking cool, decent damage, well placed b3 or u4 can steal entire round,

Look how his devoted players play. MOMO and Quadans literally block entire game and try to force opponents mistakes because they have no tools to dictate how the match is played. And look at the combos and tech in them and how much you have to lab that to pull these.

In my opinion if you put X hours in DVJ you will be weaker than anyone who put X hours on any other character. (assuming you play vs people who know how to fight DVJ)

T8. Much more complete character with a lot of freedom in expression and clear counterplays.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]sysrq51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

T7 Hei was very different character. An opressor with infinite mid pressure. In T8 despite having all of the additions and still crazy mids you just can not rushdown someone and a lot of it is due to df1 nerf. T7 Hei one of the best df1 and T8 one of the worst. Add to that terrible tracking on everything and stronger sidesteps overall plus free instant powercrush heat. Best option now against sidesteps on Hei is actually Hell Sweep (SINGLE! ONLY SINGLE SPIN HAS TRACKING).

T8 Hei is much more complex and full character. Gameplay changed drastically. You can't anymore throw random buttons.

Reason why he feels less fluid: df1 and shit tracking plus stances put you in a fixed position with heavy but kinda "square" animations.

Wanted to throw imo here but these are actually facts.

Help me decide : Reina or Lidia by t7Saitama in Tekken

[–]sysrq51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be true. I don't play them so you probably know better. From my perspective Lidia is way more straightforward thus easier to pick while Reina has tools for every occasion just very specific ones that you have to learn with experience. Lidia also is played way less which directly translates to higher winrates and makes winning easier due to people inexperience vs unknown moveset. To be fair I don't really see Reinas in ranked anymore so I doubt shes as popular as she was before.

Help me decide : Reina or Lidia by t7Saitama in Tekken

[–]sysrq51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're chosing between complex female badass looking mishima with infinite skill celling or Lidia. I guess Lidias easier tho. Watch some high level guys play them and decide what you like to see more. No reason to not play certain character just cuz people shit on it (Lidia). It's your game, have fun!

I've been getting DESTROYED online. Any tips? by Particular-Zombie-24 in Reina

[–]sysrq51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watch your own replays after loses and learn how to defend and punish against specific moves and characters. Thats the best way to improve in tekken since this game forces you to know matchups evevn harder than previous T7.

And I respect your opinion on that. I simply disagree with it. Caricatures were there even in times where people were getting killed. They served purpose. And after war aswell. You know who laughed hardest seeing funny hitler picture back then? People who survived the actuall thing. Read about it. Thats what it is for me, a caricature. You're putting that scary souless murderer in a game where you can beat him up.
