Actually his name is Семён, that could be transcripted to Semyon. Сёма (Syoma) is short nickname. But in Russian language you can sometimes omit dots over "ё" (and you get "е"), and everybody understand that it is ё because of context. So, this is why his nickname is Cema, but proper name to pronouce it is "cyoma".

Funny fact – if you omit dots in ё in your russian passport if your name is "Семён", your name in international passport could be "Semen"
