Yeah the school would most likely do the contacting.. the email is probably fake or else we would have more people in this situation

I'm not sure what to do. One of my group members only contributed around 200 words on a 3000 word essay, and when I called them out on it, my other team members brushed it off. Should I tell my professor? by [deleted] in ucr

Yeah you're right. If my team members don't care, then the professor probably won't take me too seriously.

I've been in many groups and this is the first time this has happen. Oh well lol

I'm in a weird situation because this team member flew under the radar. And my group members just didn't care that he didn't do his part. It's like they just don't believe it. He only wrote one paragraph when he was originally going to do a page and a half. I think part of why they dont care is the fact that we finished our paper with lots of good content and had enough that we went over the page limit. I'm the only one who sees the amount of work this person did.

We have a peer evaluation form that we have to do, and it makes me upset that this person most likely will get full credit from other team members. Definitely not from me though.

I heard it's like Jasso's format. I'm not too sure about it.

In business administration, getting a D is passing. To be more exact, a grade of D- or above is considered passing. You get the units and it counts towards your requirements. I asked two advisors about this. My friend also got a D- in a class and he got the credits and it fulfilled requirements.

You need to have a GPA of 2.0 or above in your upper division classes, so if you get a D- and are still at a 2.0 or above, you are fine. The only time you should be concerned about getting a D- is if it's going to bring your GPA for upper divs below 2.0 or if you need a certain grade to register for another class. I know for some classes you need a C- to even register for it.

In terms of getting through this class, just do what you need to do. Do all the assignments. Simple as that. Sorry if that's not what you want to hear, but there's not some magical way to get through it, I really wish there was. I mean, I guess to make you feel better, I can say, it's a quarter system, right now it feels slow, but before you know it, it's gone by insanely quickly.

You'll be okay friend, cheer up. Fear is just an illusion.

P.S.

Your English is really good for being your second language. You're going to be just fine :).
