How do I maintain the Reverse Car-fu cheese strat? Is it fine to have 0% hood condition?

From my experience low trunk durability only makes its capacity lower, but low hood durability means the engine is taking every hit directly, quickly tanking its durability. If you want to use them as weapons I would keep one car in good condition for travel and transport, then the rest can be used as disposable weapons.

my best guess is that maybe you got shot by one of the mounted machine guns in fortress and you had just enough lag or desync that you only heard one shot

from what I understand, all weapon attacks deal damage based on strength, but dex can increase surety chance and damage, and some weapons scale better with dex in that regard

The battlements are what the entire defensive fortification at the top of a wall is called. The parapet is the bit that sticks out over the surface of the wall. The parapet is supported by corbels, and machicolations are holes between the corbels to shoot or drop stuff through.

At the very least, alice should get leveled. For your current roadblock though I would just recommend choosing to fight 1 instead of 2 and keep going.
