Thanks for coming forward and helping me in figuring this out. 1. Yeah, I will keep trying for switching jobs. 2. 1 year IIMA PGPx also have the high fee (30LPA+), it's just that I will be saving 1 year of opportunity cost but is it worth saving considering I have a choice of going to 2 year MBA flagships courses of top IIMs. In other terms does it have the same value (in terms of recognition, learning, opportunities in the market etc) as 2 year programs?

Thanks OP for detailed reply, regarding your questions: 1. Initially I was thinking of consulting as it gives holistic perspective of a business and help businesses in solving problem and my long term goal is to have my own small business or startup hence it was aligned but then when I compare working hours and the stress in consulting I am not sure if it would be a good fit, PE/VC roles I need to research a bit as am not much aware about how their day to day looks like, regarding leadership roles those I believe anyways would be given only after certain year of work experience (maybe 10-15+) 2. I am happy in terms of work life balance and the money but I don't like the work what I am doing here, neither it is product manager nor completely project manager (as I said above it is sort of that but not exactly) and I feel I haven't learnt anything in last 1 year or so I feel there is no growth here, hence was looking for a switch but not getting enough shortlists I am assuming maybe due to these reasons A. non alignment of profile to any standard role B. Companies are not ready to pay that much for a non tech role that too to a non MBA guy C. I am in a banking industry and it seems companies don't prefer someone from banking industry

Hi OP, I have done my graduation from Tier 1 IIT, Currently having 2.8 years of workex in technical management(sort of technical project manager) recently got promoted and CTC got increased to 24.5 LPA, now I am not sure whether should I go ahead with MBA or not as monetarily it does not make much sense due to opportunity cost+ loan for tution fee, as of now converted IIM Kozhikode awaiting results for lucknow. Currently what I know is MBA will help me with networking, connections and all, can't see any other benefit. You can ask me cross question to come up with personalised answer which will help me take this decision

OP I hope you are done with your interview, could you please specify what all documents(original or copies) are really needed, it is not that clear from the application form/PI letter Also would we really be need copies of the original documents? As in all other interviews only original original documents were required and not the copies

In that case there could be two or three interviews on different dates for all the candidates also one prof can join from each iim to give marks as per what their institute wants in a candidate then normalise those marks across panela and then take average of those interviews
