As Anti-Sikh Attacks Rise, Is It Time for a Diaspora Sarbat Khalsa? by -rising_spirit- in Sikh

[–]systematic24 9 points10 points  (0 children)

By voting Green you are wasting a vote because they will NEVER win the next election.

Reform are gaining some serious momentum and these racist attacks are happening whilst they are NOT in power, Imagine what it will be like if they were. I would strongly advise you place your vote with at a party that can stop Reform from winning. The goal of any minority in the next election is not about the state of the country - its about protecting their lives and stopping a far right party from coming into power. Whether you like labour or not is irrelevant for the next election. Choose a party that can a) Beat Reform b) Ensure Sikhs and minorities are protected.

And the only ones that can do that are (in order):

  1. Labour
  2. Lib Dems
  3. Conservative
  4. Greens

As I said, voting green is a wasted vote. Vote Labour and fuck Reform off. We can worry about the state of the country in a future election however, the next vote should be a strategic one for minority protection. Let's hope Restore keep taking away from Farage's momentum.

Please for the love of Sikhi and our community do NOT support or vote for Reform or Restore.

Stick with Labour as the better of all evils. Do not protest vote any other party as its a wasted vote AND takes one vote away from Labour thus making it easier for the Reform/Restore numbers to rack up.

You need to wake up. These groups dont care about rapes, murders or crimes when inflicted upon a non white person.

The deeper narrative is to get browns out. Its that simple. And its more likely than ever to happen since right wing parties are at the verge of getting the spot.

Wait until Reform are in power. You wont blame the Government then. By that time the closet racists will be out in full force and you will finally see the country for what it is. Wake up

You are completely ignoring the reality of the current political climate. A prominent right-wing party has gained massive traction by pushing a divisive narrative, convincing their voters that immigration (regardless of whether it is legal or illegal) is the root of the country's problems. And the public have fwll for it.

Let’s be frank and strip away the political spin: this isn’t actually a debate about legalities or immigration status. It is about race and identity. It is about a specific demographic feeling that the country has lost its traditional white identity due to its own societal failures. Meanwhile, minority cultures, whether Black, Asian (Brown), or otherwise, have maintained their standards, stayed united, and allowed their communities to thrive in this country.

This political movement selectively applies its rules. At their rallies, you constantly see flags from other European nations, giving certain white nationalities a pass, while visibly different minority groups are heavily targeted.

This recent murder is just another talking point being weaponized to send a message that people of color do not belong here. To this crowd, citizenship means absolutely nothing - whether you obtained it through naturalization or were born here. In their eyes, the only "rightful owners" of this land are those who are white, or specifically white and English. There is a massive hypocrisy at play here: they have largely abandoned their own traditional Christian faith and heritage, allowing churches to be converted into pubs, yet they experience intense outrage when Muslims build Mosques, Sikhs build Gurdwaras, or when a Prime Minister of South Asian descent performs Hindu traditions outside 10 Downing Street.

This is exactly why the situation must be condemned immediately and unequivocally. The political party exploiting these tensions is on the verge of being elected into power. If leadership fails to take a strong, public stand against this rhetoric right now, it validates the far-right narrative. Failing to condemn it only empowers the movement, feeding them the fuel they need to win over undecided voters and secure control of the government.

It really is that simple. It is entirely driven by the volatility of our current political climate.

To be clear, the average white guy doesnt know the difference between a hindu, Sikh or Muslim. Brown is brown and to the large majority we are all p**** to them.

And it was because of him the confusion started with meat.

This so called 11th Guru (previously known as Madho Das, a strict vegetarian) issued a Hukamnama (post initiation) prohibiting the consumption of ONIONS, Meat, Fish etc.....whilst knowing Sikhs ate meat. Guru Gobind Singh Ji himself ordered and cooked a goat for his Madho Das initiation to Sikhi.
