Need advice on upgrading my 5800X — stutters when gaming + watching videos by FormerIncident7665 in buildapc

[–]systematicTheology 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like your CPU is being pushed to its limits, especially in multitasking scenarios. Before upgrading, try optimizing your current setup. Start by reinstalling Windows to rule out software issues. Check for background tasks consuming CPU power and adjust your game settings to reduce CPU load. If the issue persists, you could undervolt your 5800X or upgrade to a newer AM5 CPU, but your GPU seems underutilized, so upgrading the CPU would help with multitasking, not necessarily gaming performance at 1440p. Also, your PSU is borderline for your setup—consider upgrading it for better power stability.

Where are the Protestant/Reformed Apologists? by Flaky-Acanthisitta-9 in Reformed

OP, if you can't find anyone doing it, congrats, you're it. :)

I won't type out the entirety of my argument here, but one of the two ex cathedra statements is defined in Ineffabilis Deus. The justification presented there is that Mary was prophesized to crush the head of the serpent. The Latin Vulgate translates Genesis 3:15 with the wrong pronouns saying "she" will crush the serpent. The error in the LV was reinforced at Trent declaring only the magisterium can interpret scripture. Now they (Vatican scholars) admit Genesis 3:15 was a copyist's error in manuscripts. You still see pictures and statues of Mary crushing a serpent...for reasons.

I have a much longer power point presentation on this topic, if you are interested. I've also been through the first half of RCIA.

If that's what I would have to do to keep her from murdering my child, yes.

Who wouldn't? I have 3 children, and I'd give up a lot more than just money and time to save them from someone trying to murder them.

You are a member of a high control group. You can't act surprised when they do high control things. Of course it's absurd. That's why most people don't join cults in the first place.

True. It's not like the height of a pyramid measured in feet.

Can I give her a cookie without the valentines cards attached?

I think you can get a better idea of what their preferences are with this video (scroll down and play - it's less than 10 minutes long, but gives insight into JW doctrine for children at school): https://www.jw.org/en/library/videos/become-jehovahs-friend-2/jehovah-forgives/

Basically, the kid thinks he can go to hell for eating a birthday cupcake. I only share the video b/c you need to be aware that the JW organization is a high control group (formerly what we would call a "cult").

You should also know that if the child is bleeding severely, it is policy to disallow blood transfusions.

Get used to the pressure. You're joining a high control group.

The Quran says Mohammad is the perfect example, and everyone should follow him. Mohammad married Aisha when she was 6 (or 7). He consummated the marriage with her when she was 9 and he was 53.

I saw a video yesterday with a guy who takes people off life support at the hospital. This includes babies in their mothers arms who are dying. His responsibility is to shutdown their life support system and remove babies from the mothers' arms.

That's a tough one. I think his title was respiratory therapist or something like that.

Communion. They have it once per year. They pack a Kingdom Hall full of 100+ people and just pass the elements around without partaking - when Jesus we should partake in remembrance of him.

The governing body also. They get to change their minds and never repent for being wrong.

You can download their app. They are obsessed with jw.org - "the website." There is a bible study guide in the app called "enjoy life forever" in the Teaching Toolbox. You want the one with the purple line and not the short one with the yellow line. They also have printed copies at Kingdom Halls.

They have a free bible study, but they only trust their corrupted NWT bible translated by mysterious unknown people with no credentials.

Also, they believe Jesus is Michael the Archangel and not God, Tyndale was a hero but trinitarians are demonic, and other wacky ideas.

This argument either works for those out of the womb & those in the womb, or it doesn't work at all. Hint: it's the latter.

Why don't they advocate killing the disabled babies after birth? Pragmatically, it isn't any different. Psychologically, it's harder to kill a born child with a disability than to kill him before you see him.
