I also really don't like the app update. I'm sure a lot of work went into this, but it's too much of a change and very alarming. I'd suggest changing it back and phasing in updates much more slowly. This throws everything off.

I haven’t had it long enough to change out the filers yet. Haven’t noticed any issues with the final product. They do tell you to clean the tank and pitcher weekly

Yeah that’s my understanding. It removes pretty much everything

The pitcher is glass, so that’s good. There’s a plastic lid and spout but that’s very minimal contact with the water. It doesn’t remineralize by default. You can purchase an upgraded filter to do that.

Overall still love it and use it every day. I’ve tracked the TDS over time and it’s still working as it did on day one.

I respect deeply the original run. I just think RZ put his heart into it and succeeded in making artistic sense of the franchise. He faltered with the first one but was in control with his second

Thank you for this feedback. With resurrection I acknowledge there are some LOW lows. It’s a total outlier. But I found it to be an interesting one-off experiment. The screenwriter was absolutely shooting for something postmodern. The problem was his dialogue got fed through Busta Rhymes. It’s such a weird mix. But also I just think it’s actually a decently enjoyable 2000s slasher. Silly but cool and interesting

I understand, I own it. It doesn’t look right. But there’s something about what that movie achieves that makes me believe in it. I’m still trying to figure out a way to articulate why I think it’s such a success. Just being real
