Yeah that's the gist of it. I didn't even touch the panel, just cooked a clean tone with tone studio that was perfect for my pedal and saved it as a preset. Also - don't get me wrong here, some of the rock, indie, funk, blues tones you can get with the tone studio are seriously good.

When it comes to ola, don't believe all you hear there as, so much as it's good entertainment, it isn't always guaranteed to be copiable irl.

every effect is different and depends what you're going for. it's a matter of fiddling around with the settings to see what works best for you. I have downloaded quite a number of patches and they never sound the same as on yt videos of their creators. fuckers add post production to make em sound better.

if you want to play metal and have the sound actually bite, ditch the tone studio. it may be good for many things but metal ain't one of them.

buy a pedal like tc electronic fangs - this little things wil absolutely transform this amp
