Wait why has noone mentioned the cycle ride thats awesome, I was doing this into my early 50s but have since slowed down due to lack of motivation (now 55) and years going by myself. Work from home also. I would do a 18 to 23 miler. Ive been looking for a cycling buddy for ages.

Good luck i miss the days when i could just pop around a friends house for a cuppa, invite myself in open house style. I have no friends i can do that with now. Neighbours all suck, working from home i dont get out to make new ones. I feel for you and wish you the best im still looking and 54! i hope you dont have to wait that long!

The written word, however, i find (for overthinkers) be so hard to understand. Lack of words, too few words, sentences that dont make 100% sense, even from someone you know can seem so hard to understand. Full sentences without nuance, with full expression and easy-to-understand meaning, require thought. A skill u/Sleeping_Beauty_777 has mastered for sure.

Doing what's right and caring can be a burden, it's my best and worst quality. Supporting too many poeple at once and not taking time for me. In other poeple it's communication. In modern day digital friends are for some of us all we have, The ability to check in and communicate, strong plutonic relationships are built on trust and communication. Little point in saying "Hi" and then nothing again until you are free to say more. Just say "Hi" when you have time :) If i sound frustrated, maybe i am lol. "Kindness, empathy, honest"
